Yeah he's not a "rah rah" dude for sure. I think Heath could've played in any era of the NFL. It's a rarity these days to see those kinda guys. Everyone talks about Gronkowski and rightfully so but I have Sunday Ticket and watch the Pats games usually when we are not playing at the same time and I've noticed this year that Gronk drops a LOT of balls. You can NOT say that about Heath.

Agreed. For my money, Heath is the best all-around TE in football. He is doing something productive on EVERY play it seems. And didn't you love that Haley had him lined up wide on the 2 point conversion? I don't think BA ever did that with Heath.

What's amazing is that if it wasn't for a "simple" thing like a hernia, we more than likely wouldn't be talking about him, other than what he did while playing against us for some other team............

It is sad when they are scrolling fantasy points across the bottom of the screen instead of scores and other stats.

I play FF and even I think that this is stupid. Each FF league scores differently so they can't really say who is having a great day.

i hope Paulsen is taking a lot of notes. he is watching one of the best all around TE the NFL has seen for years. sure there are some flashier TE's in the league, but there arent any that are as complete as Heath.

Agreed. Letting Saunders go was a big thumbs up to Paulsen, and he's capitalising. This is a good thing.

The best thing about last night was not just seeing Heath play like Heath plays - it was seeing the playcalling using him in the most effective ways against the Bengals D.

Heath Miller is the offensive equivalent of Aaron Smith. Dudes that should go to pro bowl every year who don't get any recognition. I think many in the know, know exactly how valuable Heath Miller is.

As good as Ben has been, I would have no hesitation in calling Miller our MVP through 6 games.

To me, Heath Miller is the most professional player on this team hands down. He brings his lunchbox every game and does whatever it takes to help the team win. He reminds me of Mark Bruner.

Heath does not get the attention because he is a true tight end. He is a good receiver but not quite elite, but he is a very good blocker as a true tight end should be. To be a great blocker you cannot be blazing fast; you have to have some strength and weight.

And to think some poster last week called him a dinosear, and that we need
guys like the one in New Orleans. People we have a world class tight end that CATCHES
just about everything thrown to him. If he did not have to stay in and block
(poor OL play) he would be voted by the players to the annual pro bowl YEAR IN YEAR OUT!
He is that good, and let me say this also, Of his 8 or so years here playing How many games has he missed?
He is not like, some so called players that have missed TONS of games because of injury. He suits up every week,
He is a workaholic and CARES and has HEART. I wish we had 52 other Heath Millers on our team.

heath miller is a fotball players ,football player. a coaches dream. he doesn't get recognition because he's not flashy or a big mouth, nor cocky to any extent. the hardest working guy on the team. i have seen him on numerous times this year, and on both sides, take on our offensive tackles man alone. i might add and never give an inch. while our OT never touches a guy. our OT's get pushed back by these same people. heath dosen't move. why is this?

we have another guy like this too. james harrison. he doesn't dance, mouth off to the camera's or like interviews. he just does his job and does it well. the only time JH spouted off was when he thought he was being treated unfairly over the way he was taught to play the game. besides that he does his job.

heath arguably is the best draft pick we have ever made next to ben. i'd almost consider putting 25lbs. on him and moving him to LT. i think he could hold up. (ala larry brown back in the day) not to mention he would keep quiet and do it for the good of the team. he should have 100 catch seasons. we will be a better team for it. we need a LT that can be left on his own more often than not.

i think will johnson can too become this type of player. i hate the fact he is used more as a blocking TE now than a FB,but again it's to protect our edges. he's got some WR skills in his bag also.

paulson , i'm starting to see some good things out of him too. baby steps for now, but in time.

again i think the coaches stuck with the wrong guy in the pushing of DJ. we are going to be much better off with these guys. DJ may be back next year and that should be pope's dimise.

I've seen enough of Heeeeeath to know that if he were used properly/more,that Heeeeeath would probably be considered an elite type of tight end,Ben would probably have a little better numbers, and we probably have a better record. The guy just goes and does what he's asked to do,run blocking, pass blocking and occassionaly pass catching with no complaints that I've heard of...................HEEEEEEEATH

The man is the epitome of what being a "Pittsburgh Steeler", is all about!!!!
I agree that he is the second best draft pick we have made since the 70`s, and, that is only because the qb gets his hands on the ball every play!
Used properly, the last 6 years, or so... He would be a LOCK for the hall of fame.
And still should be, but they never consider the "intangibles"... just the stats...
Easily my favorite player of the "modern" Steelers!
Way to go HEEEEEAAAATTTHHHH!!!! :superman: :clapping: :clapping: :clapping: :herewego: :towel: :yeehaw: :hello:

A soft spoken and humble man not to mention versatile. One of the best TE if not the best in today's NFL
