This post doesn't have much of a point, no article on Heath or anything, just respect for a guy who gives 110% every day, every play ....Just wanted to show Heath some love from steeler nation.

The guy puts in work day in and day out, blocks his butt off and makes the huge catches when called upon. He's always there, seems to be Ben's safety net. Heath doesn't get much praise from too many other people outside of Steeler fans. I dont think there's any other TE I'd want out there than "Big Money" Heath Miller (his nickname at University of Virginia was Big Money)....so here's to #83!!!

I liked this post! I feel that one of the keys to the game was that we used our tight end to open up the field like Brady had done to us the last time we played them. The Patriots had no answer for Heath and we could have gone to him all day. Once they doubled up on Heath, our other wides could not be covered. Heath really deserves a lot of credit in this game for helping us to win!

Heath is the best blocking TE in the game bare none. If we utilized him more I think he could be the best at receiving as well.

Absolutly a class act never complains and you never see an ugly side of him. Comes out does his thing and trotts of the field game in and game out. I have his jersey and i just feel nothing but pride when i wear it cause nothing negative could be said about him either by fans or players. "HEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEATH THE MAN" :herewego:

Heath plays hard nosed football. He's the epitome of a Steeler through and through.

He might not put up gaudy numbers. But when you have to have a play or get the tough yards, he delivers. :herewego:

He most certainly is one of the best but I like his role where he is involved in the passing game such as with the Pats. So long as we can develop a quick type throwimg style offensively it will mean Heath plays a smaller roll in protection.

The hall in your house? I would vote Heath into the Hall of Fame if it was up to me, but he's not getting in there without a ticket. He's not even considered a top 15 TE in this league by anyone with a microphone.

Not sarcasm. I had no idea. I live in a land far, far away... I did make it to see Three Rivers in 2000, before they tore it down.

Wait a year. If our Pass O continues to develop as it has been going this year, he'll have a lot of throws his way.
He's not at Gonzalez / Graham / Gates level yet, but pretty close to top 5 right now.

If you ever get the chance to visit Heinz Field, you'll see it for yourself. It's a place where they enshrine memorabilia, great moments in Steeler history, and sort of a Steeler Hall of Fame. Oh, and replicas of the 6 Lombardis.

But here's a small taste of what it's like:

Oh he's been there in my book his whole career. He could produce as well as anyone, no question. You know what makes Tony Gonzalez better than Heath Miller? NOTHING. All he needs is the chance. And we all know that guys like Gates and Finley block like wide receivers, and Miller blocks like a tackle.

However, he will never get the throws those guys get. Even with a changing Pittsburgh offense, I'll believe it when I see it and not before.

Heath will always run below the radar, except by those who know the game. AWESOME individual AND player, proud that he is a STEELER !!

I have to weigh in on this one ref: Gonzalez. My wife's cousin plays for the KC Chiefs so when I met her she was a season ticket holder. Since I live in Iowa and love football I would go with her to games. The reason Gonzalez has the receiving numbers he did there was due to the fact that they, literally, had no one else to throw to. D. Bowe came towards the end of Gonzalez's time with KC. I'm not taking anything away from his talent (although he is a d-bag) but I would take Heath over him any day of the week, twice on Sunday! Heath's hands should be studied by science, they are like a magnet to the football.

Heath is a great Steeler and no doubt a big part of our team's success. He'll never even be on a future HOF ballot however as he's a TE in the Steeler's system which values blocking over gaudy receiving stats. Make some room for him in the Great Hall at Heinz Field though! Love ya Heath!

As respected as he is by the fans and the Steelers organization (team and coaches) it's still a bit of a tragedy that he will miss out on the HOF because he wasn't utilized to his fullest extent. I truly believe he has HOF abilities and could be there. He's easily as good as D. Clark and J. Whitten. Gates and Gonzalez might have the upper hand in receiveing, we'll never know, but his combined skills are as good as they get. He seems content. Awesome guy. Will probably be my fav Steeler after Hines retires.
