has Ben ever played great in Gillette? much less in September and potentially a flared up elbow while adjusting to offense with no Brown vs the best secondary in the league?

not making excuses but ok yes i am making excuses but they are valid are they not? lol

Yes I am critical of my love... ahem Ben all the time

The fact is the record. It is just an idiotic statistic to use in evaluating a quarterback.

For one thing, it doesn't take strength of opponent into schedule. Those were two of the top four teams in the league. Roethlisberger also played part of the New England game and all of the Seattle game with the elbow injury that ended his season. Those were also two games played before the Minkah Fitzpatrick trade. Also, as someone else pointed out, the Steelers were actually leading when Roethlisberger left the game against the Seahawks.

Your argument is bad and you should feel bad.

I think Mason will eventually be the future of the team when Ben retires.

I am hoping Duck plays well enough that we can pull a play out of New England's playbook and pull a "Matt Cassell" and trade Duck away for an early pick.

My guess is that we will see Mason some point in the Buffalo game.
