They did a great job today. A few mistakes but if the offense puts up points it's not even close.

    Indeed.

As I said in another thread, this defense is getting considerably better and better.

Need to improve on situational awareness and tackling (the equivalent of "Black Plauge" league wide it seems). Outside of that though, this pass defense is becoming legit.

That's pretty much been the case the whole season. The offense hasn't done them any favors at all. The defense hasn't been perfect by any stretch of the imagination, but when your offense can't score, can't convert 3rd down, and turns it over repeatedly there are going to be breakdowns.

The O did a good job as well... Played a bit conservative as we all should expect after last week. Ben hit folks in stride, Haley switched up some packages ( still shouldn't be running from shotgun inside the 5 but baby steps I guess?) good showing.

Coach T being in the ears of who he needed to be at the right times. Riding what was working... Little hiccup with shotgun formation inside the 5 on the fg ending.

Solid win... Some tweaks needed and if it follows the ebb and flows as it were and obviously we on to something like we all expected

Defense is doing what it needs to. We will be ok but I won’t be surprised if dalton puts up 5 tds

If the offense ever gets kicking, we can do a lot against teams. We only scored 19 minutes and 2 came off a safety.

Dalton has one reliable receiver. He aint putting up 5 TD's against this D.

    David Todd.... I like you my man and agree with you but much of this was due in part to schematic changes;

Team seemed to went from pattern matching to zone to prevent the big play. Too bad Artie Burns and Sean Davis did not get that memo.

Agreed, 2 back, let Nix and Bell bang inside the 5.

Yes. He did have a far better game today. If anything, he is a winner today for me.

Quite impressive D effort, save a few drives in the 4th.

If you take away the 4th quarter from our games, our D is bar none the best.

But football is 60 minutes not 45

The chiefs aren't accidentally 5-1. That's a good offense. They were going to score. And save for a couple breakdowns and the tackling bug, we represented ourselves well

No surprise our best defensive performance this year coincides with Debo's return.

    Yep yep.

We've got some good young talent, and no offense to #90, but there's something to be said for being one of the strongest players in the game combined with a ton of experience and high football IQ.

The NFL changed the rules because of him, but they still don't call him being held on nearly every play.

Err... they're ranked #1 in pass defense... you have a high bar my friend :)

But I agree... seeing those defenders get totally spun around on Thomas' TD... let's just say the dog didn't come back in the room for a while

The defense has been very solid so far this season and has bailed this offense out numerous times with both Haley and Ben's absolutely horrific playcalling on the goaline and in the redzone.

When you think about it, this season has been so bizarre. Our offense was suppose to carry us; 35-31 type games. We was suppose to win by out-scoring the other team. In reality, our defense has had to carry the offense all 6 games because even with all the weapons we have, we just can't score touchdowns...

Great showing by our D especially in the first half which set the tone. Before getting hurt Williams was all over the place and I am becoming a bigger Hilton fan each week. Tuitt and Heyward are monsters on the Dline and Artie and Haden are looking pretty darn good. Man what a breath of fresh air to come on here and talk about the good stuff.........
