Has Carnell Lake's time come ...

    This isn't the first time this type of Lake thread has been posted. Personally I see no change in the secondary play although I like the fact that at least the young guys are getting reps. Also Dangerfield's play was pretty solid. Not sold on Golden. And Gay has not been playing that well. And Mitchell is a Ryan Clark clone a hitter with limited coverage skills. Cockrell a cast off is playing solid.

    Carnell Lake was one of my favorite Steelers. A great player. That doesn't make for an NFL success in coaching. He has young prospects to coach up. I feel he should be on the hot seat if this unit doesn't improve...

    They finally gave Lake some decent talent to work with, we need to see if these young guys develop too early to tell. Joey Porter might need to be let go though, the OLB no production at all. Hire Kevin Greene to be OLB coach, he was OLB coach with Green Bay and worked with Clay Matthews.
