he's an ohio boy. he went to college in ohio too. i don't think him staying in the afc north is a big stretch or payback by any means. his family and friends live in this part of the country. why wouldn't he want to stick around here?

i don't hear any of this talk about colon and he did make remarks.

Another 1000+ points from Garry Anderson would have been sweet. I also hated seeing Kevin Greene leave.

Looks like Harrison cost himself quite a bit of money by not taking our offer. Base salary of barely over $1M with an $18,750 roster bonus for each game he is active. Total salary is only a little over $4M over 2 years. Didn't we offer him the opportunity to make around $4M this coming year with the chance to make more in incentives?

I read this yesterday and couldn't control my laughter. Not only does Harrison end up with LESS money, he ends up with less money to play a supporting role in a 4-3 defense. GOOD MOVE, JH!

I can't think of too many big-name players who put on a Steeler uniform who were as dumb--thoroughly, thoroughly DUMB--as James Harrison. I doubt the man's IQ was even in the teens. I now get the "That's just James being James" saying that used to go on: it was basically acknowledging, "That's the village idiot being the village idiot." I am so glad this man is gone.
