The Jets didn't kick the Steelers ass today, the Steelers did that all on their own.

Inspirational speech by Harbaugh. "We won against a very bad team today. The team that destroyed and completely embarrassed us in front of most of the television watching world last week just lost to one of the worst teams in the league!"

I have more of a problem with what the Steelers did than I have with what Harbaugh said. He's still an ass but if the Steelers take care of their business there's nothing he can say.

I understand what he was saying to his team in their locker room. I bet anyone of us would say something similar if the first place team in our division beat us down one week then went out and lost to one of the worst teams in the league.

Of course we would. I'm sure Tomlin has mentioned things about division rivals over the years in the confines of the locker room. I have never played pro sports, but I did play at a relatively high level, and coaches would bring up teams that we weren't playing. That whole "one game at a time" motto is great and all, but it's unrealistic. If it were true, the term "trap game" wouldn't exist.

Besides, it's not like he said it before the game. He said it after the game, when the guys no longer needed to be focused.

I don't like the guy, although I do think he's a good coach, but I don't understand the issue here. Harbaugh brought up the subject of a hated division rival. That's nothing new in lockers rooms.

What point is that? That the Rats suck worse then the Jets?

He was just being a dick, only reason he said it.

Or perhaps he was trying to make his team feel better about being smashed last week. Ya know, kind of implying that anything can happen in the NFL on any given Sunday.

Maybe it will let a fire for the Steelers and make them realize they need to get up for every game.

Yeah, I mean I could almost be had with this if we hadn't just handed his team a MAJOR ass kicking a week ago. He just made himself look like a really poor loser that, a week after a loss, is still pissed about it.

My problem with it is that he's acting like he didn't know it was being recorded. He's a stark raving liar. I literally watched the speech. If you watch it all together he stops before he says it, points to the camera, asks his PR guys who they are, then says it and they were on a tape delay so they bleeped out the cuss word. He KNEW FOR AN ABSOLUTE FACT that he was being recorded. He is a complete moron for thinking no one would have ever heard what he said. I mean he seriously would make Forrest Gump look like Einstein if HONESTLY BELIEVED that no one would hear what he said. They are an idiotic organization with no class. The fact that he is bold face lying about this makes me really believe that he absolutely saw the "whole tape" in the Rice situation. He is a liar. Plain and simple.
