I feel compelled to make a Labor Day post, so here it is: Maybe if the union didn’t go on strike, Tommy wouldn’t have been down on his luck and it wouldn’t have been so tough.

Thank the gods for FDR and social security. He and Lincoln were da best prez's ever. My boomer dad clocks some serious dollars from SS. He deserves it. Worked 50+ years, full time. Congrats to you.
