One year ago today, the Steelers scored 30+ points in a regular season football game. They have not done it again since.

The Jets have scored over 30 points this season, and they suck, so who gives a crap if they hit 30 points?

Just out of curiosity, do people go out of their way and research to come up with meaningless, bad stats to post here, or is it from some article you came across by chance?

It's not a bad stat. It illustrates the struggles this team has had for a year. There's nothing wrong with pointing that out. It may be uncomfortable for us steeler fans but it is a valid point.

Should have said stats that make the team/coach/owner look bad. I kinda think everyone on here knows things aren't right, The question is, do people go out of their way to find articles to prove that, or is it an article they saw in passing?

I saw it in passing at the tweet cited in the OP, that you were apparently too lazy to click on. Do you have anything to add other than attacking the poster?

    If not, how about...

They would've had 30 points against Chicago if Boswell didn't miss a XP.

I already Brought up how lame this is. Also how it doesn't matter.
7 games won this week under 30
9 games won the week before under 30
8 won under 30 the week before that
    Should I go on???
It appears You can win a lot of games in the NFL under 30 points....astoundingly.......
    Every week. Wow!!!!

Considering we can’t hit 30 and we are winning games I guess our defense ain’t that bad?

The Steelers have scored 17, 10, 17, and 16 in their three losses and a tie. If you are happy with this offense I don't know what to tell you. If they had a competent offense they'd be the top seed in the AFC.

It is a problem. They're going play some really good offenses in the coming weeks and the D is losing guys.

I mean, in 9 of their last 15 games they haven't scored 20. Is that a problem?

It's hilarious watching you guys argue the inarguable.

It's funny watching You complain about things that are the least of our worries.
Winning is important...Not style Points. I know this isn't good for Fantasy, but I could care less. It's Why I stopped doing Fantasy football as soon as I noticed the change in the people that watched football, the type that started 2 watch ,and change into what they thought was important.
Win that's all. Not Did mY Qb throw for 5000 yards. One thing, and only one thing matters ..did You score 1 more point then the other team.
How many Games a week do I have 2 show Winners that are under 30??? Every week it's More than half that win with less then 30 points. So why make a big deal about it??
Bills are one of the Top scoring teams in the league....Did it Help them against Us, The Jags, or the Titans???

Of course W’s is what matters most but those W’s will be hard to come by if your offense struggles to regularly break 20 points.

The game they scored 29 had a defensive score in it, too, didn’t it.

They need to be sharper on offense or this stretch could get ugly with the health of the defense as it is.

What is your solution? Identifying the problem is fairly easy the hard part is correcting it. So let's have that discussion it seems more productive.

With this roster? None, it's too late.

Mine would have been to cut bait with the older players, not sign rentals who hit the cap after they leave next year, and start rebuilding.

Same thing happened last year and people buried their heads in the sand. It's bound to happen again, they have no fixes on the current roster, which will sustain more injuries over the next 8 weeks.

I don't think that realistically puts them in place to win at least 8 games. Any rebuild would take 3 to 5 years to develop before 2nd contracts and wear and tear begin to hit the mid 20s-30s players. I don't think an epic collapse of Browns proportions could net enough picks in the top ten and salary cap space to accomplish a quick rebuild.

Personally at this point I'd be more in favor of choosing either a west coast style offense, a direct rip off of the Ravens O from 3 years ago or a Tom Brady dink and dunk that forces favorable matchups for designed plays. Not sure if they can install and run that quick though.
