Mine, Offense Tie Heath Miller/ Ben Roethlesberger close second Antonio Brown.
Defensive MVP Ryan Clark. And he missed 1 complete game, boy I wish the rest of the defense
could play with as much passion as #25 does. Who's are yours?

I like a tie between Miller and Roethlisberger as well. The D needs another week before I can pick one. Too much inconsistent play from that side of the ball. At the moment i'd say Clark has the edge.

While Heath has been amazing, we could survive if he went down... If we lost Ben we might as well call it a season, there's no doubt he's the offensive MVP.

On defense, it's hard to pick... But I'm going with Lawrence Timmons... In the last 3 games he's been lights out.

Offence - Ben. Heath has been great, but Ben has been lights out

Defence - Timmons wins by default. I'd like to say nobody deserves to be labelled team MVP at this point, but Timmons somewhat deserves it I guess

    Offense - Ben

Defense - Mark Sanchez's 10 of 27 effort, Michael Vick's fumbles, Andy Dalton's pass off Zeitler's head, and the Redskin's receivers. lol, I'll go with Timmons.

Special teams - Suisham - money, though a strong second is Brown - minus the poor sportsmanship, if only the other 10 guys would learn how to block he would be giving the team some great field position.

Offense- Ben, with Heath a close second.

Defense is harder to pick. Timmons, with Clark a close second.

I agree with wardismvp about Clarks passion. He brings it every game.

    Offense is Ben.

Defense, I have no idea. I hope they can raise their level of play. It is weird, but I felt the last couple of years this D was LIGHTS OUT until about game 12. Then they would gradually get worse. I hope that this year, they raise it as the year goes along. Our schedule is favorable for that, but the players need to do it.

At this point, the rest of the AFC is so bad, that I really like our chances for the playoffs and division. It can be done.

Well people always say this, but you can say the same with just about any teams' QB. This is also why I don't like how it is an MVP award because positional value factors in far too much. It should be an award for who is performing the best at THEIR POSITION compared to other players in the League.

Ben for O (Heath is easily number 2 for me)

Clark for D (I think he's saved Ike a lot of embarrassment.)

It's a week early, but okay... Ben gets it because he is a quarterback playing great ball. That's an automatic if you're using the technical definition of MVP. Without the QB, it wouldn't matter if you had Jerry Rice in his prime out there. The QB has a huge advantage that way. If all the positions were level, I'd go with Miller (and would every year).

On defense... Clark. He is so valuable.

Special teams... Suisham in a landslide! Butler kicking well too. Everybody else ties with negative 50 votes.

Yeah, I thought about that as I was writing it. You're right, he's done well, it's his unit that is sucking. And I hate his taunting BS. I hope Tomlin puts a stop to it this time. But Suisham still takes it anyway. He's been completely perfect except for one kick he should not have been asked to make.

Tomlin has actually stated on 2 different occasions that I've read about that he didn't like AB doing that. AB said during his post game presser that he didn't know that it was a penalty for that to happen so I guess it won't happen again. I'm honestly not as bothered as some are about this. The fact that it could cost us 15 yards is what bothers me. Our D needs ALL the help they can get. The hot dogging that DOES bother me is the crap when guys flip in to the end zone. AB and Wallace have both done that but I just think that's ASKING to get hurt.

    Offense - Big Ben
    Defense - Ryan Clark
BTW, Ryan Clark is without a doubt my favorite current Steeler. He treats my children incredibly every TC. He's a great guy..

Every time he talks, I like him more. He's becoming one of my all-time favorites as well.

Can anybody think of a better run defending free safety? Like, ever? Or in the last 20 years or so? Am I forgetting someone obvious? I know Dawkins was good, but I think Clark is better. He flies up to the line like a missile. He rarely misses, tackles with form where needed and lays the wood when he can, and doesn't sacrifice any coverage. He still doesn't get beaten deep. All that and he's maybe the biggest enforcer around.

Honestly thought it was going to be a wash when Hope went to Tennessee and they grabbed Clark from D.C.

He's been a pleasant suprise. If only they don't lose him for Denver games. I ave a feeling the first loss is going to bit this team again.

Yep, been trying to think of a name not mentioned yet, and the only one I can come up with is Hampton...
Everyone else deserves their mentions, but, I think Hampton has been on the field more than I really expected, and seems to be doing what he does best...
Clogging up the middle, and making a big tackle or two a game.
I thought McClendon would be in there more this year, but I haven`t really seen it...
I`ll admit I don`t always focus on the interior of the D_Line, during the heat of the game.
But when the camera has panned to the opposing team`s center, I always seem to see big ole Hampton`s face, staring at him.
I`m sure he is being rotated, but I haven`t heard McClendons name called, like it was in pre-season...
    Way to go SNACK!!! :applaud:

im also not a fan of the showman ship, but from everything i have heard about Brown, no one works harder to get better and you would be hard pressed to find a guy that loves the game more. that doesnt mean its ok to show boat, but i guess it makes it a little easier to swallow than it would be if it was a guy that wasnt giving it his all on every play.

i do cringe a little when he get up after a catch and does his point and drop the ball routine. i would much rather him be like Miller, but not every player approaches the game like Miller. Brown has his own personality and as long as he keeps busting his butt i can live with the extra caricular stuff.

I want to give it to heath because he's the most amazing on offense but I have to give it to Ben because we need him more. In that sense of the question Ben is more valuable.

    :geek:

    On Defense?

First instinct says timmons but none of them are really up to par so far.
I'll go with Da Beard and call it a homer pick. :beard:
