Any one else wonder why we haven't seen a Haley to stay in Pittsburgh story yet?
I know he is my cuz but we still never met, so I got no inside info.

Because there is no controversy. If the Steelers can somehow get a power running game going and Ben buys into his philosophy then they can be very successful. That's a big IF though.

I want Haley to stay. It baffles me when I hear people calling for his head after one season. You can't expect to have an offensive juggernaut after one season with a new OC. This season could have been much different if the WRs knew how to catch the ball and not fumble so much. And lets not forget the RB carousel with their bad case of fumbles and getting benched. Injuries didn't help the cause either.

When Haley was hired we wanted him to use Heath more and Ben to take a lot less hits. I think he has succeeded in that area. We gave Arians 5 years of his school yard football and getting Ben killed, the least we can do is see what Haley has to offer before running him out of town. We need continuity at the coaching position. If we don't have that we will be no better than the buffalo Bills. JMO

I think Haley is a solid coordinator. Early in the season, we were scoring pretty well and were at or near the tops in the league on 3rd down conversion. Then the line started to crumble, and Ben got hurt, and the rest is history. We weren't perfect, but we were pretty good early on considering that there are always going to be some growing pains with a new coordinator. I honestly think that we would have been a dangerous playoff team if not for the injuries on offense.

I would think he will get one more year to see what he can do. It doesn't take more than two years to see if he continues with some of the suspect play calling.

the Haley haters are the BA lovers .

lets all hate on the guy who was turning Ben into an actual QB, before he went back to being the stupid Ben and got injured again

Colbert was asked about Haley staying in a radio interview yesterday.

Q: Do you know for sure that Todd Haley and Omar Khan will be returning to the team?

A: "I’m assuming Coach Haley, obviously they hired Coach Arians out in Arizona so that fills all the head coaching vacancies so I’m sure Todd will be back and we’re happy that he is back. I don’t know if Omar has heard definitively what’s going on in New York yet or not. I know there’s some rumors to the effect but I don’t think a final decision has been announced that I’m aware of."
