    i don't.

i blame him for the playcalling and flow of the offense, or lack there of. my God we had 3rd and two and emptied the backfield. where have we seen this before? all the slip and bubble screens. even hitting our guys in the ass last week for a defensive TD. where have we seen this before? we can't run the ball. where have we seen this before?

    ;)
Didn't it look like Redman was running possessed. Why did we stop running him? Should't you go with the hot hand? ;)

if not for player mistakes we would have put up another 3 to 7 points in regulation and won the game ... now my question is had those mistakes not happened and we would have won would this thread exist ?

I tend to think not .... end of discussion from my perspective

I think Haley has a good plan and with more time in the system our offense can become special. However, if Haley does leave for the desert the first call I make if I'm Mike Tomlin is to Cinncinnati to see if Hue Jackson is interested.

Why would he want to go back to the Cardinals?
Other than Larry Fitzgerald, and Peterson who else on that
team makes him want to stay? No I think he is here for some
time until a position would open up where he could succeed.

These days, I'd take Kyle Shanihan in a heartbeat. He's really brought that team around from years and years of pathetic play by wasted big names under the bad coaching of his dad and idiocy of the management.

Why not? BA was blamed for player fumbling, stumbling and bumbling and it cost him his job:lolol:

If Todd Haley goes to the Cards, that probably means that Kirby Wilson is our next OC. If you think our offense looks out of sync now...

Agreeed. I'm not sure what Tomlin's infatuation is with Wilson. Apparently he was poised to offer the OC position to Wilson after Rooney forced him to to get rid of BA when Wilson was burned badly in the house fire. I also remember there being reports that Tomlin wanted Fichtner and/or Kugler to be co-OCs until Wilson was ready to come back and assume the role himself. The speculation is that Rooney strongly encouraged Tomlin to interview and consider Haley. Makes me wonder about Tomlin's decision making when it comes to personnel.

Todd Haley is an idiot. Everybody hated BA for the bubble screens but offers no criticism of TH's extensive use of them (even from inside the 5-yard line against San Diego). Macdaddyo nailed it: some of the formations that he comes up with are mind-boggling. 3rd-and-5 yesterday and he takes Wallace out and goes bunch right as Ben throws a bounce pass to Dwyer. That play never had a chance even had Ben stuck the throw. 3rd-and-5 and a delayed draw to Rainey? Rainey goes down quickly with the first hint of contact. Use Redman in that situation. "Well-designed plays" my butt. It's ridiculous that people want the OC and QB to not get along. TH should be game-planning to suit Ben's strengths. You want to have your QB confident and comfortable in the offensive scheme. To encourage a flammable work situation is incomprehensible. Especially with a personality like Ben's. To sit in the seats at Heinz on a Sunday afternoon and listen to the locals complain about TH, you'd never know there was a Steelers message board out there showing this much love for TH. I pray the Cardinals pursue yet another of our worthless possessions.

Speaking for myself, I never blamed him for those things, I just don't like the way he calls a game, sure it is more exciting, has big splash plays but I prefer a more methodical game plan. It hasn't been all rosy with Haley but I'm not ready to throw him under the bus after 1 year. The real shame is, if it is only 1 year, we'll have to go through these growing pains again next season.

maybe. we have been through 18 games counting preseason. this isn't still brand new. yet the play looks like it is. ben only has so much time left. then all bets are off. better sooner then later.

I know I might be flamed, but if Haley leaves (and I hope he does not) I would take Cam Cameron. He could be underrated at this point in time. Flacco is the reason that offense for the Ravens isn't rolling, not Cameron. Cameron's success at the Chargers has me intrigued.

Maybe they should unleash him. Sorry to say, but if there is a growing problem between Ben and Haley, I'm going with Ben. But, this is probably just more fan and media bs. Ben said he called the play on the Int, and Ben said of the play that broke down that resulted in a TD pass to Heath, that it turned out to be the wrong play because they went prevent D. The closest I got to Ben blaming Haley for anything was not being able to answer why Heath disappeared from the game plan in the second half.

Ditto Blount, although he is my cuz, I have never met him so do not talk to him however, I think Tomlin/Rooney need to sit Ben Down and tell him this is your O coordinator. He calls the plays. I also think Todd when we are having troubles should turn Ben loose with the no huddle

Of course they have, but they are going to find out Flacco is the problem. I like the job Haley is doing though.
