Oh and BTW when you leave office your reason has to always be so you can "spend more time with your family". LOL. So it's not that you are apprehensive about Haley's system it's just that you wanna spend more time with your family. I will gracefully accept your resignation and speak of how well you served the office. Of course in pm's between JackAttack and myself I will bash you all over the planet. LOL. Maybe JackAttack or H8R will accept a promotion. Actually where is 4everH8? He said he was gonna change his name but I've not noticed anyone new. Have I missed something?

Yes yes, that's what I meant to say, I'd like to spend more time with my family *ahem*. Jackattack is the founder though, he was the first to push for Haley, he'd be taking a demotion.

But not to worry with Haley, apparently the new GM isn't making a lot and Haley is asking for the moon, unless your name is Belichick, do coaches make more then the GM???

Well I think in Belichik's case he IS the GM isn't he? Hasn't he been in complete control since Pioli went to KC?

Well, that was my point, they have one but he's under Belichick, he runs the show completely, the GM probably brings him coffee :lolol:

Yes, that would be terrible, he just led the Colts to the playoffs and coming off two 12-4 seasons with us, that suck ass :lolol:

BA had his faults but you guys knock him way to hard.

Well, I think before Kolb was injured, AZ was 4-0, then their season fell apart. But yeah, slight drop off from what BA is used to. Wonder how much he'd get out of Kolb.

Thank you, TE, for giving me my props.

It seems that some on this board want to forget that I was the FIRST to call for the Haley hiring and have usurped my position as the FOUNDING MEMBER of the Haley fan club. (looking at you, BFT).

LOL! Forgive me my friend! I totally acknowledge that you are the founding father! But are you with TomlinEra on this one or are you sorta like me and think that we should wait one more year to see if it's gonna really work out?

Now THAT would be a great job! You know that guy gets paid mad money to do that! Plus he probably bumps in to Giselle every now and then too!!!

He's asking for a boat load of money if a team wants him, that's how much he wants to stay...

I absolutely think we give Haley AT LEAST one more year. If Ben buys into Haley's offensive philosophy and learns how to study film, I really believe great things could transpire. I know this sounds crazy, but I can actually envision a scenario where Haley becomes the head coach of the Steelers at some point.

I've honestly thought about that too just because the Rooney's really like him a lot. But I know it would sound conspiratorial and all that but I thought when they brought in Haley "maybe they are sending a message to Tomlin that there's a guy here that his HC material". I know that is not the case but I just wondered if there were some psychological undertones there. I think the Rooney's really like Tomlin or else he wouldn't have gotten the job. I also think the Rooney's like Tomlin or else he wouldn't have gotten an extension too ya know. But I can see what you are saying though. I also think Haley's system would have looked MUCH better if Ben had stayed healthy and players would catch and hold the football that they are paid to catch and hold.

lol, no problem Jack! And for the record, I wasn't saying to fire Haley, just that I probably won't be disappointed if he takes the Az job. And I agree BFT, if Haley is here next year, why not incorporate more of the type passing game he used when he was in Az with Warner? I don't remember them being so dink and dunk heavy. Maybe with a healthy improved line he will be able to, Ben should have more then a nanosecond to wait for receivers to run their routes then.

Yeah that AZ line must've been pretty great really. I think the offensive line is THE most underrated unit in football. The reason I think this is because I am a Steelers fan in this day and age. LOL.

Exactly, he knows he is the red headed step child in the family and Ben is his daddy.

And, didn't the Cardinals fire him once? Or maybe he left on his own, I don't remember.
