    Mort seems to be pretty confident about it. I would give it some legs to stand on.

    Haley might not be so bad attitude and all. He might be just the right kind of ego maniac to keep Ben in check. If it is so then congrats to Haley.

    Don't be ridiculous... We can wait until tomorrow.

    If this is true, I am a little disappointed... BUT, I will reserve judgement until I hear what they have to say. For all we know, Todd will do an excellent job. He has excellent tools to work with, we know that. And I trust that the Rooneys wouldn't hire anyone without getting a detailed gameplan they can work with as well as assurance that he will be somewhat open to change where need be.

    And of course, I will reserve total judgement until I actually see a game or two, as we all should.

    ESPN is running it on the bottom of the screen right now, saying it is official. I know they aren't always right when they're guessing, but they seem pretty certain about that.

    Yeah, none of the beat guys have this. Bouchette was interviewed today on the fan, and was asked about the new OC. He more/less said nothing was immenent, and tended to think they the Steelers were waiting to see if Kirby Wilson would recover enough to take the job.

    Now, he could be totaly wrong. He could miss the story completely, but I'd think his contacts over the years make that unlikely.

    cool. well . . . hope he does a phenomenal job here. hope he and ben 'play well together.' i see personality clashes on the horizon but i'm hoping they can coexist and get us our 7th. i hope haley understands his role and can be flexible in his approach to ben, the other coaches, and this organization in general.
