I called no one ignorant specifically, I seen one guy say this and I basically stated how it's ignorant to say Ben is running the Steelers. I did not call him out by name. Isn't that statement this guy made pure ignorance? Wouldn't that make the person who said it, ignorant?

There is a difference between having an opinion and something being a fact. Like I said, If Ben were running the team, wouldn't Arians be here, wouldn't he be doing the drafting, making player cuts. It might be different if this guy was joking but he really thought this.

And no I am not Kevdude, the guy who made 25 threads a day bashing Arians and got himself banned.

Oh yeah, and the thing about Lebeau not adapting... dude are you serious??? We went from being a terrible pass defense to being one of the top pass and scoring defenses in the league... with one of the worst CB cores in the league and a revolving door of injuries and suspensions at both LB and the DL. We did that without getting hardly any turnovers. Think about how our defense would have been if they had forced turnovers like usual or been healthy all year. Yeah he called a bad game in Denver, we all know that, but it's one game. If the offense was semi efficient, our D would be even better. It's hard to pin your ears back and go after the other team when you're constantly behind and trying to play catch up. It's a team sport. The success of the offense or defense relies a great deal on what the other side does.

 

No, you just seem a like an Ariens apologist. And someone who has selective hearing (reading) when it's comes to their critiques of his time coaching here. Nobody ever says they want the exact philosophy of the 1970's or even the Bettis years. While everyone loves the success of those years (especially in the running game), most know, it's not fair or possible with new players. Do I need to repeat peoples real and perceived issues people have of BA?

Plus, find your sense of humor. people are just ****ing with you. We were all upset this past year and trying to be optimistic of the upcoming one. The BA thing wasn't cutting it.

 

I love when people try to pass off stupid remarks as joking around or as being sarcastic. That BS doesn't work very well on the internet. I don't come here for comedy, although that what you end up with half the time, I come here to discuss football.

 

Of course you allowed to have your own concerns and opinions. I never said you couldn't. I personally think this hiring is a good thing and I also hope that I am right. I really believe that Ben and this offense need authority on the sidelines.

You "barely" made any (marks?) that could be considered insulting to anyone?

1. It's remarks. Not marks.
2. You say words like "ignorant", "stupid" and come across as a bitter person looking for a fight.
3. When you "barely" hit your wife, "barely" cut someone off, "barely" do herion - at the end of the day, you still did it. Your first post was insulting and not worded very well.
4. You can't decide what anyone considers insulting except for yourself. You can't say what can be considered anything to anyone except yourself.

I too was on the old Steelers forum over a decade ago but that doesn't give me the right to cut people down or degrade people.

I hope you consider how you treat people and how you come off in your posts. A little kindness goes a long way - even when people disagree.
