    1. Olasunkanmi Adeniyi - Really want to see how this guy translates to the NFL. Watching his highlights he already has a better rip and swim move than Dupree. I like Dupree (and he's shown flashes), but he's not improved his technique enough so this may be his last year.

    Joshua Frazier for me.

He was my favorite pick of the draft and is everything that the "Shade Tree" was not; Frazier's potential even greater than when McCullers came out. Add the fact that Dunbar knows a thing or two about him and I cannot wait to see him in action.

His value is going to yield far greater weight than others realize.

Landry Jones. Is this his breakout year?

Huguenin and Nat Berhe. Just interested in what we’ve got in those two. Not holding out hope they’ll make the team, but still looking forward to what they might bring.

Edmunds, Rudolph, Okorafer, Samuels, Washington, Quadree, Frazier, Allen, Adams, Thomas, Red, Sutton.

Those I don't really care to watch: Landry Jones, Croissant.

    Mason Rudolph

I quit watching preseason games years ago... but I may watch this year to see if the 3rd round QB is the real deal.

Preseason games are pretty much worthless... and there's always a risk of injury to a key player, particularly on the O-line.

What are you going to be looking at specifically. Taking snaps under center, speed of the game too much for him, going through his progressions, command of the pocket, touch on the ball? The one thing that impressed me about Dobbs last year was that he was able to get over his mistakes quickly and get back into the offensive flow.

I keep hearing from fans of other teams that Big 12 QBs suck. I want to aggravate and piss off local Cowboys and Redskins fans when Rudolph does well.

I misread this as “who would you like to see in prison” lol

That would give me quite a different response than preseason haha

I’d say Samuels will be interesting to see in action. Obviously our first 3 picks will be the highlight of the preseason though. Edmunds and where he plays, how Washington will handle having a pretty big role as a rookie, and of course taking a look at Rudolph will be nice too

A lot of supposedly good college QBs who haven't done much.

    https://bleacherreport.com/articles...g-the-10-best-quarterbacks-of-all-time#slide1

Daniel has only been a back up, but always has been a #2 pretty much.
White did nothing in the NFL.
    Bishop nothing.
Weeden nothing better than back up, mostly stinks.
    Harrell nothing.
Bradford has shown flashes but can't stay healthy. But a master of making big $ for not playing.
    Landry Jones.................
RG3....so much hype but since his rookie year, just hurt or stinks.
    Young = total bust.
McCoy...decent back up, and that's it.

I think it's safe to say that mostly what you hear is correct.

I think the last great QB out of there was Aikman. Hoping Mason is the next one.

The problem or a problem is that a lot of these guys are drafted by bad teams to be the savior. They haven't got the talent around them, the front office or coaching staff to or anything to put them in a position to succeed. Then instead of learning their craft they are thrust into playing time because you don't take a QB first over all and not play him and the kid is shell shocked. I mean look at how badly the Browns go about things year after year.

Are you still referring to the Big 12 Blast? Troy Aikman was a UCLA Bruin as I recall.

Edit: Just checked - we're both right - 2 years at OU under Switzer and then 2 years at UCLA under Donahue. I didn't recall his days in the Big 12.

you could probably say that about most of the conferences.

Hell when was the last good Heisman Trophy-winning QB that went o to be a superstar QB in the NFL. Cam Newton?

Was looking at the list and was surprised to realize that Bradford came out before Newton!

But of ALL those high QB picks, most go onto suck elsewhere, so the picks are bad. I mean, if you are truly good, being on one bad team should not ruin your entire career - you would bounce back when you got out of there, but the most X-Brown QBs do is settle as a backup. Most don't stay in the league at all.

2nd round pick Kizer - traded away for a warm 6 pack after just one season.

    3rd - Kessler. Working at Wendy's.

1st round - Manziel. A BACKUP in the Canadian league.

1st round - Weeden. 3rd string in Houston.

3rd round - McCoy. Backup Skins.

1st round - Brady Quinn. Been out of football for a while.

    You get the picture.

IDK, SEC alone had much better QBs come out than big 12.

Peyton Manning - one of the best QBs in the history of football.

    Bart Starr

    Eli Manning

    Ken Stabler

    Namath

    Tarkington

    Matt Stafford

    Cam Newton

Yeah, I know, but I didn't want to be the SEC guy here. That's why I said "Most" conferences.

They do play more NFL level defenses in terms of talent levels on the field "ON Average" and drill fundamentals a little better.

I'd like to have seen what AJ McCarron could do full time as well.
