Guess the Steelers record next season

Not sure about record, but pretty sure we'll barely make the playoffs, get smoked in the first round, and Tomlin will be hailed as a great coach by the media.

Death and taxes, yes, but I wouldn't be so sure about the "non" losing season streak. I wouldn't be too surprised if it ended in 2024

We'll have all next off-season to debate about it.

 

A tie is considered half of a win and half of a loss so two ties in a year would be considered one win and one loss. That would make a 7-8-2 record equal to an 8-9 record and not a winning season.

 

True, any pridictions prior to having things in place is like pissing in the wind.

Based on what I've seen over the last several seasons it will make zero difference.

 

I am torn between a few different outcomes. 1-16, 2-15, 3-14, 4-13, 5-12, 6-11, 7-10, 8-9, 9-8, 10-7, 11-6, 12-5, 13-4, 14-3, 15-2, 16-1.......I can't decide for sure. I am 93% certain that it will be one of those outcomes though.

For real though, it depends on 4 things. Coaching, navigating the salary cap, draft/FA, and what are schedule will be next year. If we can fix coaching issues that seem to affect the games like preparation and making hard calls on personnel and we can successfully navigate our salary cap issue....I think we could get to 12 or 13 wins. Failure to build a better coaching staff will leave somewhere in the 7 to 10 wins and we won't be competitive in the playoffs if we make it there.
