Seems like you've been smoking most of your brick Bricks. Conner has just as many receptions and yds (49 rec for 450 yds and 18 1st downs) as Gurley and more than Elliot. He has same number of fumbles as Elliot and fewer than Gurley had in 2017. Yes, lately he's been faltering but overall, he's right in there with the big boys. It's easy to jump on the nagging Nellie bandwagon but these stats even surprised me.

Edit: For what it's worth, of JC's 4 fumbles this year, just lost 2 of them.

I know you suggested as much by posting "For what it's worth," but whether or not the fumble is lost really doesn't say anything about the player's mistake. If Conner had recovered his own fumble, we would have been talking about it less, but the fumble itself would have been the same mistake.

I dunno, man. The “incidental” (per Gene Steratore) helmet-to-helmet contact looked like it made Grimble go limp and resulted in a concussion.

I thought the explanation of why that hit was legal was weak as well. It was helmet-to-helmet contact initiated by the defender and it sure looked like it caused the concussion.

You can complain about Roby grabbing Brown before Roethlisberger's interception, too, but I'm not really interested in blaming the officials when the Steelers made so many avoidable errors in one game.

Agreed. I'm always in the mood to blame the officials but I try to usually save it for the games we are playing or played well enough to deserve a win....

Or if he does fumble it probably doesn't go out the side of the endzone.
