There's quiet a few conspiracy theories about that Superbowl. Like how the Raiders changed their game plan the day before the game, and the Centre disappeared for days before. Everything was quite odd about it.

When you were little it was more like "neanderthals and homo heidelbergensis," surely?

The Cheerleaders episode was really scummy..
But it is hard to demonize that one as much as it should have when we've the Dallas Cheerleaders.

STD had me looking up former NFL MVPs and there was Rich Gannon on the list from 2002,

So I pulled his Wiki page to see how good he was. How Did John Gruden take a 34 year old free agent QB and change his QB life around? In 1999 Gannon was a washed up, unsigned nobody, on his way out of the league.

    Rich Gannon
In February 1999, Gannon was signed as a free agent by the Oakland Raiders. He excelled in head coach Jon Gruden's West Coast offense and was voted to the Pro Bowl in his first year as a Raider – the first of four straight selections. In 2001 and 2002 he won the Pro Bowl MVP award consecutively, a feat achieved by no other NFL player.

Gannon won the NFL Most Valuable Player Award after a record-setting 2002 season, throwing for 4,689 yards and 26 touchdowns and recording a career-high 97.2 passer rating.

Why are you only counting the 3 winning seasons with Oakland? I see his record has 7 non-losing season. Isn't that how success is measured here in Pittsburgh? :)

I am assuming Gannon is the top reason Gruden is considered a QB Guru.
