And you list Thomas as someone we have to play S, but he has proven nothing, other than he is always hurt, or still couldnt earn his way to playing time when he actually was not hurt. As far as McCain goes, $3 mill for a starting CB is very much in range for what the market is at. I thought he played well enough to start on this D, certainly better than our other options, other than Gay, who is underrated.

Umm hate to break it to you and ruin the perfect rant but that career backup had 4 sacks last year in spot duty and wasn't a starter. So already he has surpassed your expectations without trying.

It was a huge need and I must have missed the NFL mandate allowing teams to sign only 1 FA.
