Got to admit I was frustrated as heck during the 1st quarter but the whole team stepped up the rest of the way and got a big win. We won 27-10 and it doesn't even feel like we played that great of a game. Can't wait until they get some of the small things worked out and get healthy God willing. We got the Raiders next week. Good chance of 2-1. Rats have the Patriots. One of those teams will be 1-2. :yeehaw:

Not trying to be a buzzkill, but remember the last time they played in Oakland?

I do remember. I'm glad Bruce Gradkowski isn't playing for them anymore.

That was the last HOME game.

The last road game was all Roethlisberger and he still plays for the Steelers...

It was nice to see some dominance after the first quarter and a half. One observation that I have is that if the Steelers continue to control Time of Possession the way they have the last two weeks, they're going to win a lot of games. I know the stat can be misleading, but they are doing an excellent job of keeping the opposing offense off the field. If Ben continues to play virtually mistake free like he did today - you're in the game to the end no matter what.

This was a great win against a pretty good team. Remember, Sanchez and Co. put up 48 points last week against a Bills team that rolled to victory today. They're no slouches, but this was a good "statement" game.

As for the last time they played in Oakland - I'm ALWAYS worried when they go there. A let down is certainly possible, but I'm thinking that they'll have the same message all week - and I expect another big win in 7 days.

That was so bad I don't think it could ever be any worse. Okay, maybe the Texan game that they lost 24-3, but that (the Oakland game) was probably Bens worst game...at least that I can remember.

Zero chance of that happening again. I think they'll get the win.

Ok can someone really quick explain to me when the competition committee decided throwing the ball out of bounds was intentional grounding and yet throwing it at the ground behind a running back who has no idea you are throwing it got passed a rule? I am baffled by that one. Ben finally throws the ball away on a busted play and he gets flagged for it?

yeah these Refs suck. Especially when they can't see that the Jet player in the endzone on that punt play.

He has to be outside of the tackles (he wasn't) and the ball has to go past the LOS (it did).

Regarding the RB, you could always make the case that he was the intended target and didn't get turned around in time. If you do that to an Olineman, its a penalty.

Yeah Bobby I know the rule but how did the players agree to it? Throwing it away has always been just that throwing it away. The intentional grounding in my opinion should be the definition of throwing at a players feet where clearly there is no attempt to complete the pass in essence or true to the definition intentionally grounding it. So basically they have taken a once safe play( i mean safe as in players health0 and made into quick sprint outside the tackles hope you don't get your bell rung and then throw it too the sideline. It was a bad rule change in my book.
