I knew about shemarko's struggles after his parents died, and his character which came out of it, but had no idea just how far he had come......... his story alone makes me want to see him succeed...... his story would rival Michael oher's in the blindside if anyone bothered to put it on the big screen... here's to big things from our future ss

Good article. If you weren't already rooting for this kid, you will be after reading that.

That is a great article and very touching. I hope his work ethic rubs off on some of the other members of the team who may be inclined to coast a bit.

This kid proves a great point about role-models. I know it is, often, debated about whether athletes are role-models or not but this kid is a role-model for what he does off the field. My point...I don't think being an athlete makes you a role-model, or atleast a good one, I think the person you are is what makes you a role-model. This kid is certainly one and I will be cheering for him!

What are the odds that we see him on the field for a considerable amount of time this year? If he can hit as hard as everyone says he does I'm really itching to watch him lay somebody out. Preferably Flacco.

Hell, Jarvis Jones has a similar story to blindside as well.

But don't Dolphins sorta beat sharks up though? I think they're actually enemies.

A group yes one on one no. Hopefully they have to call Ace to find the new dolphin when we get done with him.
