He'll beat out Jones. No worries there. I'm just happy he's healthy and ready to go. I hope we don't need him but if we do, I have more confidence in him moving the offense then I do in Jones.

I was hoping they would sign an UDFA QB, keep him on the practice squad, and ditch Landry. Two QBs on the 53-man roster is enough.

I thought he was done. Hopefully the qb on the roster can outplay him

Have to say, Grad looked a bit rusty last year leading up to his injury - a whole year off at his age may not be a great thing - hoping he can be serviceable when/if needed like Charlie was for so many seasons.

Better number 3 than Vick, but Gradkowski doesn't instill much confidence in me. Ben better stay healthy. Our other two options kinda suck lol

Someone want to explain how Gradkowski who has a career passer rating of 65 with no running ability is better than Vick who has ten times the experience, great mobility and a passer rating of 80. At least Vick has thrown considerably more TDs than INTs.

Morris, did you see Vick those last two games he played? He's done dude. He has nothing left.

    I wouldn't go that far.

But I agree that people can seriously overestimate Gradkowski. He's done little to inspire confidence when he's been on the field.

Let's face it if Gradkowski or Vick is running this offense we are done. I can't believe I am gonna say this but if these 2 are our options(well Grad is the guy we signed) then I think I would take my chances with Landry. He at least showed one game he could do it who know maybe he could be a short term answer. Sure wish we signed Adams as a UFA, he has a chip on his shoulder from not being drafted and maybe if needed could have shown something better then what we have now.

Either way we can waste time talking about who is better Vick/Grad/Landry but if Ben goes down we are up ****z creek...............NO PADDLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Especially when I look at the fact of what Hoyer was signed for in Chicago. If Hoyer was fine with a one year deal, then we should have gotten him and paid that 2 mil.

If Ben is hurt for a period of time we are most likely done. Sit Ben and Bell vs Bagels both games and we go 14-2. Problem solved

Actually those 2 games were par for Vick's career.

I'm not a Vick fan but he is definitely better than Gradkowski for a number of reasons.

Vick being left handed and insccurate screws up the offense though. He seems to struggle a lot throwing across his body like when he missed AB on slants that were wide open.

My point is I would have gotten rid of Gradkowski too. Why is there a QB with a record of 6-14 and passer rating of 65 on the roster?! It makes no sense.

Hopefully a healthy Big Ben for the whole season.

But, I think team proved enough. That they can keep the ship afloat if for a couple games if he misses.
I have the faith in Grad or Landry can do that much. Neither one of them is leading you to the promise land.

If Ben, Brown, or Bell go down for the season. Were not good enough to win it all without them.

Sad thing is... Gradkowski's best game as a pro was when he was playing for the Raiders... vs. the Steelers in '09.
