There are no nuances in your world :lolol:

Everyone is on equal footing, everyones roster is the same talent level, every draft pick is the same talent level, coaching is the same, teams picking at the top dont have better access to the top talent, every franchise operates at the same competence level.

No one wants to tank, well, might be a couple that do but in general the people who say they wont mind a losing season arent saying they want to tank, they are just saying there could be a silver lining getting out of the dead zone they continually find themselves drafting in.

If I was you , I wouldn't be proud of this. Lots of people agreed with Hitler, and Jim Jones just to mention a few.
LoL. LoL. It called the 10-15 percent rule, or for many the 90 - 85 percent rule.

Appears you haven't read, but only scanned through it. That is not what they are saying. Hell they don't even know what they are saying.

I think its a very stupid idea when I hear people say we should tank. First and foremost I would never be a fan of any organization or any player who deemed it necessary or thought prudent to " tank" to start fresh and wipe the slate clean. Professionals don't do this. At least not in my world. I have had recently someone spew that garbage. Yikes. Really is that how we want to play it.

But it is. You think Buffalo isnt any closer to winning a SB than we are just because the end result is not a SB victory. You think or seem to imply that repeatedly getting blown out in the playoffs is the same as a team that is competitive and that advances to numerous conference title games.

You’ve said repeatedly there is no advantage to picking higher in the draft because you can find good talent when you pick later which is entirely true but harder to do. You point to the fact that these teams havent won a SB as proof even know that doesnt take into consideration a number of reasons why they haven’t.

I have yet to see anyone make the claim that we will 100% find a franchise QB picking earlier or that we will go to the SB the following year if we pick higher in the draft. All that is being said is being in position to pick higher in the draft will give us better access to the elite talent available. They still have to choose well but I trust the Steelers front office to do that better than the Browns or other perennial losers and then, this is very important, they have to go to a team that puts them in the best position to succeed.

I dont know if you saw it but Bell was talking about how bad a coach Adam Gase was, I think you even agree that bad coaching will bring down a team much more than good coaching will lift a team up.

The Lions traded for their quarterback.

The Raiders just drafted a rookie. He still needs to prove that he is a franchise quarterback.

He thinks getting to the Super Bowl isn't that hard, even though only two teams per year make it vs 14 who make the playoffs, almost half of the league and this is not that hard when the AFC has so many bad teams like the Titans, Browns, Raiders, and Jets year after year
