Grade the overall draft

That's especially true when it comes to drafting a franchise QB, something the Steelers have been in desperate need of ever since a prime Ben. We were only able to draft Ben at #10 overall after a losing season. With a good QB draft class coming up in 2027, going 6-10 this year might be the best thing for the Steelers in the long term. That's another good reason for Rodgers to not return. I'm not saying that they intentionally tank this season, but I'd rather see what Howard or Allar can do as our QB #1, so we'll know if we even need to draft a QB in round 1 next year. I may not be the smartest guy in the world about football, but it doesn't take a genius to figure out that the Steelers will never rise above the level of mediocrity without a franchise QB, and having a bad 2026 would certainly help their chances of getting one.
