i will give us an A-. i love jones but bell puzzles me alittle. they must like him. wheaton is solid. its obvious that the front office knows what they are doing.

right at this moment, a B-. maybe it's just me, but i'm not big on them picking Jones and Bell where they did. i like the Wheaton pick, though.

still, like others have pointed out, it's way too early to rate this draft.

I usually don`t post, if I have nothing positive to say, but I refrained from saying pretty much exactly what Jack just said...
Why do ya all feel the need to judge a draft, before the players have set foot on the field? Or even in training camp, for that matter?
As is, I like what we have done so far, but until tthe kids get on the field and play, there is no possible way to know how well we did or didn`t do, then there are cases like DeCastro, where we might have picked a great player, but he got hurt before he could do anything for us... Or a guy like Sweed, who so many were doing cartwheels that we got...(Guilty)...
Kinda the same thing about making any kind of predictions about the future... How many wins/ year, score/ game, etc.
Yeah, I get that it`s fun, and why a lot of us come here.
Just don`t get so caugfht up in it... No one knows the future.
It`s pretty cool, when you guess right, but don`t get so caught up in it, and/or bent outta shape over it!

Sorry, not my normal positive type of post. Maybe I should be better about keepin my mouth shut.
Just had a bad week, and feelin a little cranky. I`ll get over it, and remember that I don`t have to reply to every post... HaHaHa...
On a positive note, I would grade this draft an "A", assuming the kids live up to the potential they have, and stay healthy.

Looks a solid draft to me, 2nd and 3rd rounders are likely to start so B or B+ maybe.

Hmmm. If Matt Barkley continues to slide, and is available at #115, I would seriously consider him there, for all the reasons stated in the article. It's time to start looking at the Steelers' next QB and bring him along as Rodgers was. NFL GMs may rue the day they passed on Barkley.
