I know there has been a ton of threads and comments over the years about how all the calls go for the Patriots, or Goodell is in Kraft's pocket, I honestly have just filed it away as no way can there really be that much corruption in a multi billion dollar industry. But can there really be that much smoke for the past 18 years and no fire? This isn't just a bitter Steeler Fan complaining, there are multiple teams/fans that feel the same way.

2002 - Tuck Rule I am sure the Raiders Fans have some feelings about this one. This is the one that set it all off. Why would the NFL want to ensure the Patriots advanced? This was after the tragedy 9/11. The NFL was all over the Patriots, playing up the name and saying how we are all Patriots. Do you remember Joe Andruzzi running on to the field waving the American Flag and how it was played up that his brother was a fireman? (Make no mistake, 9/11 was of course a huge tragedy and I respect all heroes who run into the burning buildings while others are running out, but this was the catalyst imo.)

2002 - AFC championship game against the Steelers. What I vividly remember was the special teams play of Troy Edwards getting pushed off the field of play and making it back in, but not in time for the officials. The announcers even made a point of saying Belechick told them he was going to let the officials know this has been happening all year and it wasn't called. So why all of a sudden do they call it there? The next play on the call back was returned for a touchdown.

During this era of the Patriots team, their DB's mauled receivers 10+ yards down the field, never called for holding or interference. Quite easy to be a dominant defense when you can mug the receivers and not get called for it. I remember a post game interview where Tony Gonzalez was tackled in the end zone prior to a catch for a win and nothing was called. He had claw marks on his neck during the interview from Rodney Harrison

2007 - Spygate. I can only speculate how many teams this effected. There were reports of the Rams Super Bowl Walkthrough being taped. Patriot Defenders will claim this would not help them that much. Why did they do it then? I am sure we remember Hines saying that the Patriots were calling out their plays. The discipline for Spygate was a joke, fines and losing a first round pick, not even their highest pick that year. I would trade that in a heartbeat if it meant multiple Super Bowls. Sean Payton was suspended for a year, they lost two second round picks (they didn't have a first) multiple other coaching and player suspensions. All the tapes "destroyed" so we (the public) don't get to see the amount of dirty work they did.

2017 - The same officiating crew has awarded or taken a touchdown away in the Patriots favor 3 times. Our game Bryant was interfered with in the end zone, no flag and hasn't been talked about because it was a touchdown. Rogers was interfered with on the interception.

I am not even going to go into ticky tack stuff like the offensive holding that is never called to protect Brady, although you can call it on any play, it really seems like they go to great lengths to make sure he isn't hit.

Now, most people will claim this is all BS, because Patriots hate Goodell and vice versa after deflategate. This is where I need you to tighten up that tin foil and keep an open mind.

I started thinking about this after the stink being brought up about Brady's personal trainer being banned from the plane and facility. Wants to keep him away from the other players also, I have one answer..... PED's. Brady tests positive, and rather then bring even more shame on the Golden Boy, the NFL's poster child and current Poster Team, Goodell disguises the four game suspension for PED's as a deflategate suspension. Sounds crazy right? There is a readily accepted theory that Michael Jordan's little stint in baseball was actually an agreed upon suspension because gambling on basketball. Protect the brand, protect the golden player, protect the golden egg. Ped's also explains Brady's lengthy career, no real injuries, no drop off in skill.... it all adds up.


So to sum it up, the amount of times Patriots have gotten away with a slap on the wrist, or absolute stunning calls, are we all that paranoid or jealous, or where there is that much smoke, there is a fire burning underground ready to collapse on itself? I covered the major points to the best of my recollection, please if you can think of more add them and I will edit the post, we need to get more people on this so we can uncover the garbage we as football and Steeler fans have been enduring for 17+ years.

 

Yet further proof there should be breeding licenses.

We all try to justify why we keep losing and the main justification is that they are just that good.

And, of course, then there is deflategate that Roger NEVER relented on. That alone proves the conspiracy theory is crap. I am actually more sick of the Pat whiners than the Pats themselves.

 

Somewhat serious question. Those of you who think the NFL is rigged why don't you contact the FBI with your evidence? If you're right they've committed a Federal crime.

 

The illuminati will prevent any investigation.

 

Or that was just Roger's way of trying to make right, for destroying all the Spygate evidence. Of course, all pursued after Brady had already won the SB.

I like this post, I honestly dont know why so many are quick to say its all in our imagination, I have asked this question before and I would love to know if its true or not,

Has there ever been a play the refs have overturned against the patriots with the game on the line that led to the patriots defeat in the last 17 years ?

 

May I suggest doing your own homework? Go through the patriots schedule for the last 17 years and make note of all the losses. Then go find videos of all those games and figure it out for yourself.

Because he is pointing out facts about how the NFL favors the Patriots? dexter402 is not the problem...the problem is all of the brainwashed indoctrinated fools who are willing to watch their own team get screwed over and not only accept it but defend it? Do you think the NFL surrendered it's tax exempt status out of the kindness of their hearts?? As long as the NFL were tax exempt and considered a non profit organization they had to play by certain rules based on integrity.

Glenn wants concrete evidence. He wants a piece of paper that says NFL is rigged signed by Goodell. Goodell had enough evidence to vacant the Patriots Super Bowls and give them the death penalty and burned it.

 

thats what we keep hearing, no undisputable evidence his hands was not under the ball, more evidence cooks did not survive the ground, but that doesnt matter.

 

Truth be told....The almighty NFL did in fact do a cover up for the ages....Us as fans will NEVER know the whole truth...just a ton of spectulation....But you better believe there is plenty more information about that investigation that would be extremely detrimental to this league...They wanted to preserve the history and that was all that mattered so they just got rid of the evidence and swept the rest under the rug..If people believed they gained NO advantage by doing what they were doing,than it wouldn't have gone on for years.....And by the way,back then they weren't blowing people out.....they were winning with venatari field goals....so a slight edge may have been all they needed...Yup this shift still pisses me off

 

So why don't you call the authorities and turn them in?
