During the press conference a reporter asked why did we play so bad - Coach said, “because we sucked!” The honesty it is refreshing in this day an age.

Hopefully this can motivate some of the young receivers to play better. Ray Ray doesn’t fumble and we catch half of those dropped passes totally different game.

    11-0 baby keep it going.

I saw that too, went something like: Reporter "Mike, what do attribute all of the dropped passes and some of the other mistakes to?" Tomlin: "We sucked." About as straight forward and truthful as it gets. He was in a foul mood from the time he stepped up to the microphone and he should have been.

Can't wait for fans of other teams to tell us we're the worst 19-0 team ever.

(edit: not that I'm saying we'll go undefeated. I'll never say that)

If he had SDOT or Heinzmustard as his spokespeople it would have went into much greater detail.

It's great he recognizes that the game today was nothing to be proud of. A win isn't always a win. Sure, you are what you're record says you are, but who wants to look backwards? Surely we're all looking forward to the SB. We have the talent, but it's either being misused or they aren't playing up to the required standard.

If we can't run the ball to get 1 yard when we need it, we're in trouble.

I know Ben loves to throw and I know Fitchner is Ben's *****, but if we don't fix the running game so that we can convert those 3rd and 1 situations, then we will not win the SB. Ben is an egomaniac and will never change, we know that, but Tomlin has to recognize the issues and somehow fix them

Is it wrong to think we are looking more lucky than good?

maybe the luck never runs out?

The luck may not run out, but if you look at point differential, then yes, we've gotten very lucky. We're scraping by teams. A win is a win, but when you're winning close games, it's rare to be 11-0. Typically teams like us will regress to the mean. Hopefully it doesn't happen. I'd rather be the luckiest SB winning team ever than the unluckiest runner up.

Surprisingly enough, we are ranked 1st in point differential.

Again with this mess? The Steelers have the best point differential in football and a number of those are due to blowouts. Hell, two of our last three are blowout wins. Even if the best teams struggle from time to time.

Too bad Tomlin isn't as emotional as Jim Mora. It would have been cool to see Tomlin go full on "Samuel L. Jackson" during the post game press conference.

I’m saying we struggle a bit sometimes vs teams we shouldn’t. If you follow me around here I’m not 100% doom and gloom lol

Tomlin better have the troops ready for Football Team. Washington has a better D than the Ravens backup D that was on the field yesterday. Hopefully this will light a fire under the Steelers... but we thought this after the Cowboys game and nothing much changed.

WFT has the best ranked pass defense and a solid run game. Smith is a better passer than RG3

They have Del Rio as DC... and he's a better coordinator than HC. He's the new Wade Phillips.

And...Being undefeated is going to help your point differential! OBVIOUSLY!

If you win by 3, then 3,then 3,then 3, then 28...Then your point differential would be 8! It's the," not losing part, that is the main factor!

It woudn't surprise me if the Steelers lost to the WFT. But it also wouldn't surprise me if Steelers won 38-10.
