I would have been stunned if it had been the other way around. At least now, it isnt just Steeler fans thinking this guy is a clown.

I think the luster is starting to wear off on Goodell. He and the owners may have cost one of their own big time last night with the replacement officials. What happens if GB misses the playoffs by a game or loses a tie-breaker to get in the playoffs or loses home field advantage? The only thing most owners understand is the almighty dollar. Ask the owners of GB how cheated they feel today. It could cost them big time down the road if they don't end up getting a home playoff game or even get into the playoffs.

He is a joke and needs to get out ASAP, which will never happen.

Doubt it, I see no indications from the owners, even from the Rooneys, that his actions are against their wishes.

First, Goodell works for the Owners.

Is he an @sshat? Yes. But he is just a puppet.

The whole preaching of safety is only to go to 18 games. It will happen.

The replacements are brutal. Not just from that call at the end of the GB/Seattle game, but over the course of every game.

Goodell is in hiding because he is told to do so. You don't see any owners of any team coming out chastizing the refs do you? That includes the Rooney's.

If you really want to protest, don't watch/go to the games. Hopefully the public outcry and also the gambling public will get the vet officials back. Don't hold your breath though.

It's a total joke and we as the viewers of professional football are being duped. But as long as the money train keeps rollin, it will be business as usual.

Publicity good or bad, i'm sure the NFL brass is eating it up.

They will eventually settle this thing and come out smelling like a rose. Just watch.

    And watch we will...

Fans might be complaining, but you won't hear the owners complain at all. The game is more popular now than ever before and they're making more money.

The gambling public. Now there's an idea. I heard that the packer game cost 300 million dollars in Vegas. Maybe a couple more of those dollar losses will open someone's eyes. The mafia maybe?
