Not only that but with only a single high he veered away from Rudolph’s strength.

This right here. What did this game remind everyone of? A KFP game.

Now we saw Rudolph under the same poor coaching and it didn’t look good.

Coaching matters. They need to shake things up, hopefully Tomlin walks and the whole staff gets an overhaul.

They beat Tampa 20-6? Are you confusing Ben Johnson with someone else? He also has Jared Goff looking like a top 5 QB. So what the Lions had a bad game or two offensively. It isn't always going to be perfect, but his system must have some merit if they essentially took the worst team in the NFL the year prior to his hiring and turned a QB castaway into a good player that is leading a top 5 NFL offense. Would be nice to see some of that type of turnaround here in Pittsburgh. No guarantees of course, but it can't hurt. Plus with all the stuff Najee has been saying about the locker room lacking structure and commitment, having someone that worked under Dan Campbell should help in that department too.

Just like always, ZERO gameplan. Just go with what we WANT to do and make it happen, regardless of the other team's plan. Ridiculous. I don't know how some people think that Tomlin doesn't hold this team back in a lot of regards. He certainly helps with a number of things, but the things he is bad at make it pretty clear that this team is going to have a hard time winning the big games with Tomlin at the helm.

Make no gameplan, no in-game counters.... then blame the players. Easy coaching job.

Makes for a good in season coach but will get his ass handed to him in the playoffs. Like we’ve been watching.

Bills gave them single high safety and dared them to throw. What did Tomlin do? Got scared and ran it into a stacked LOS. Steelers should of went for the gusto right at kickoff.

I was surprised there were no real deep shots, unless it was due to weather?

Every nfl team has talent. The Steelers are the least talented team/roster in their division and in the bottom half of talent when you look at the league overall.

They only had 3 pro bowlers. 1 is a special teams guy and 1 is Minkah who made it on name alone. TJ was the only real all star player on the team this year. This roster is below average.

With exception of Minkah, all our Safties and ILBs are journeymen.

el wrongo. they are not below average, on paper. Unless you weight something, like QB. which brings down the entire roster......

you make my point about the STUPID Pro Bowl as some sort of metric.

this team has a lot of talent - they have poor coaching and plenty of needs too. Lots of injuries by late in the year, but so do many teams.

JPJ still needs a bookend badly....

As far as O-line is concerned..... we already have a LT. Coach just needs to play him there. We need a RT and C

They were deemed as having the worst roster in the division before the season. They were also predicted to finish last in the division and not make the playoffs. That was “on paper” genius.

The defense was starting guys off of the street. Mason Cole is one of the worst centers in the league and Dan Moore is about the same. Their first 2 qbs also aren’t that good either.

If that is the case, hope you all like the contract extensions coming up for Austin and Faulkner.
