Make sure you email Mike Tomlin, let him know they've got to begin coaching 30 year old DHB to backpedal 4-8 yards at the snap of the ball, while reading the routes of the line, and eyeing the QB... and then in a split second either flip his hips, or explode towards the play.

One of the fundamentals aspects of athletics that you fail to understand in all your nonsensical positions, is that a key element to athletic success is repetition, and more specifically, the muscle memory that is developed off that repetition.

Your entire premise of converting WRs to DBs... is dumb to begin with. It's monumentally idiotic when you begin attempting to apply the theory to old veterans.

I get you but our Safety play is light years from being on the NFL level as well IMO . Would it kill us to see if he has enough skills to play it a few snaps a game ? My take is a solid No.

Nah, he actually thinks high school football players could play in the pros.... literally, that's a position he's staked out.

And our Safety play looks worse than peewee level at times , so why not insert some basic knowledge of the position, Sometimes the easiest answer is the best one.

All Pro's are High School players to my knowledge. So yes HS guys can play in the Pro's .If not we would have no NFL game.....

That doesn't mean the two are the same, though, which was the criticism. You're confusing necessary and sufficient conditions.

Let's go back to what's important, 1st priority of a receiver is be able to catch the freaking ball. Fine if you want to call him a special team specialist but a receiver no because he can't catch. It's really simple.

All Pros are infants at some point too. Maybe Lizard's newborns are the answer to our safety concerns? Just think of the communication between twins on the back end of the secondary! They might even communicate with ESPN!

Not likely in 2017. Potential is one thing. Readiness is another.

you have to start somewhere though. i'm saying get him started with learning the position, not just throwing him in a game right now. he tackles pretty well. he got tons of time in preseason which was good but as a corner. we have a bigger need at safety right now than we do at corner so he's buried way down on that list. getting a rookie through the draft next year puts us a year behind again while we have a guy to mold right here.
