Lack of productivity from AB is a bit concerning...I don't know if he had a 2nd half reception. Without a 2nd threat, it's too easy for teams to take him out of the game

by the way- this 5 game win streak includes:

    4 wins on the road
    AND
a win against a 10 win playoff team

Look what Ryan Matthews did to Baltimore this week, and ratchet that up for Bell.

This thread has nothing to do with them winning 5 games in a row. Superstitions are silly and irrational.

Besides, it's my superstitious play that is responsible for their 5 game streak, which I will reveal if they lose :lolol:

Didn't anyone ever tell you guys you render your superstition powerless when you reveal it to others??? Sheesh.

Looks like ab was held or interfered consistently. Glad they called some in the second half. Also nice to see rogers be productive. Now we need to get Coates going and hope green is ok

The Bengals and Ravens seem to do a good job of keeping AB in check, Ben still forces the ball to him in double coverage . That one play in the endzone AB was double covered, and had no chance Ben was lucky that wasn't a int.

I'm starting to think there's something to this. Think about it. This has been a crazy ride the last few weeks. Our best (arguably) defensive player goes on IR for the season and our defense plays...better . Our elite quarterback plays the worst game of his career and we...win . We beat the Bungles today and the player of the game was...the kicker .

This is crazy guys and this thread has to stay alive all the way to number 7!!! :dancing:

The Steelers certainly played a sloppy game, especially in the first half, but the real concern is the injuries. The defense clearly isn't the same without Tuitt. The improved pass rush simply wasn't there with him out of the lineup and pressure is going to be even harder to come by against the Ravens.

I was wondering how bad the injury really was watching the game. If it was serious, why allow him to spend the entire game on the sideline and still in uniform? Why not start treatment or at least get him off his feet? Maybe the Steelers realized that next week's game is a hell of a lot more important than this one and kept him out as a precaution.

The larger concern is Ladarius Green. Though he was slow getting up, he didn't seem that bad as he walked to the sideline. It was clear they wouldn't be able to check him out in time for a return to the game, but Tomlin confirmed in the post-game that Green is in the NFL concussion protocol.

This is a particularly large concern because Green has a history of concussions and the headaches that kept him on the sideline through training camp and the early part of the season. That history means he is less likely to return quickly from another concussion.

The Steelers have a serious problem if Green can't play next week. They have to be able to throw the ball against the Ravens and they are severely lacking in targets outside of Antonio Brown. Green gives them another threat over the middle and down the field, the big target they have been missing with Bryant suspended. Without Green, it is going to be far too easy for the Ravens to double-team Brown and force Roethlisberger to beat him with the other receivers.

You know the old saying...good teams find ways to win, bungles find ways to lose.
