Good win but.......

We really beat a crappy team today. The Browns were terrible all around and yet they kept it close.

Back on top of the mediocre AFC North. Lots of fine tuning left to be done.

D was good but the Browns O line was horrible.

Hope the Defense plays with as much intensity on Thanksgiving.

Yep. We need to beat the Rats the next time we play them.

 

I agree and maybe our D needed a game like this to get some confidence for the stretch run. Tuitt and Hargrave looked real good as far as getting push and Tuitt looked to be flying all over the field. The more I see of McCullers the more I don't want to see of him......

 

We've struggled against bad teams on the road. We won be happy.

 

Tuitts best game this season. Going to have to see more of this.

 

I don't feel that 86 wasn't happy with the win. Just us realists take this game with a grain of salt...

 

Thursday game is HUGE! A win gives us a legitimate shot at the AFC North, which is the only way we get in the playoffs. A loss means counting on other teams for help. Even then, this team doesn't look capable of four straight post-season wins with three on the road.

 

Just a little worrisome defense played the best game in probably years and it was a 1 possession game against the winless Browns with 5 minutes left.

 

I'm just happy we won a game. it could of been against the Old tampa bay buc teams or the old Saints teams back in the day.

 

A win is a win. See Dallas vs us

 

So what, we had the lead the entire game. We controlled that entire game. They were never in position to challenge for the lead. We won be happy.

 

The Steelers won and covered the spread. The Cowboys won and covered the spread so I was 2 for2 and the Ravens lost. Good week. I'm happy.

 

Likewise I don't think anyone is taking this game as anything more than what it was.

Yes it was only the Browns, but that was the team we had to beat this week...

 

Still don't get the McCullers bashing. He's doing what he's supposed to do when he's in there. They're not asking him to move around and come from different spots, just occupy 2 blockers and he's doing that more than not.

Hargraves isn't being asked to do the same things McCullers is.

Hargraves is tasked with getting pressure.

Big Mc actually had a batted pass as well today.

 

Hey with the way this defense has been playing I will take it. I am not worried about the offense we have the talent. If we can can pressure on the qb like we did today vs Luck watch out. I just don't get it people are knocking this win cause it was vs the winless Clowns but yet so many in the prediction thread picked the Clowns to win........I guess even with a win some are not happy.

 

the browns have played some close games. I know they suck but look its a road win. we are tied for first. I am excited. I will add that this was one of the worse called games we have been apart of. the ravens will probably lose at least 2 more. including one to us. I like where we stand.

 

The Pats, Cowboys and Jets are the only 3 teams to score 30 or more against the Browns and the Jets almost lost. A win is a win.

I was obviously encouraged by the D. Yes, they can get to a quarterback after all. Hargrave and Tuitt needed to step up and they did. The biggest problem now is finding some WR play to take the heat of AB.

 

Its a division rivalry. They know everything we are going to do, they see it 2 times a year. Defense looked better, glad to see Bell actually running well.

 

True. Rogers, Hamilton and Coates all have contributed but have not stood out to take the doubles, triples off of Brown. Show flashes but need more consistent play from that group going forward.

 

Did Butler dial up the blitzes or is cleveland that bad? How did we register 8 sacks lol. That 1 game matched our season LOL jk

 

I love Sundays when we're trying to find a win.... and Mondays when we've found one. GO STEELERS win out!!!!
