good to have them

we may have some starters hurting but i for one am glad we have some guys that may not have tons of starts under they're belts but do have experience. guys like fort, johnson, gilbert, DHB, williams, DJ and even dangerfield. they have been around the league for a while in some capacity and shouldn't be overwhelmed by the speed of the game or the preparation they will need to help this team as the starters heal. they are still hungry enough to know and show what they have and we shouldn't lose a lot of knowledge of the game if they have to play extended minutes. these kind of guys are good to have. seasoned backups that shouldn't be wide eyed if called upon.

 

A concern is that for the last few preseasons, our backups and been routinely tooled by the other teams' backups. For this reason I have doubts about the quality of our depth.

 

preseason is totally different than regular season with a game plan in place and other starters around them.
