Bostic is good too. This defense can be decent at best with full health

 

Defense is not bad... It does have some speed and they are not crashing into each other anymore running out of there gaps.... The kids are learning the system and haden is a hell of a cornerback

 

Good to have Morgan back, but groin injuries never seem to totally go away.

 

Burnett had a good game. He was always around the ball. Good sign.

 

I feel he has been improving for sure and has some splash plays.

Edmonds has been coming on as well. Finally, Finally we saw some life out of Dupree in the 2nd half. And don't rest on what Chickillo brings. Also Tuitt seemed to be a lot more active, good to see.

And no noise about Sean Davis. Quietly adjusting to the position.

It's the way a rookie QB should be welcomed to Heinz.

 

The last four weeks have been pretty good for the defense. The communication issues have at least partially cleared as well.

 

The important thing is that there is improvement each week and the margin of victory grows. Although the first qtr was one of the worst in memory(Ben was terrible}. the D kept the Stains out of the end zone 3 times when the O was not getting first downs.

 

Yep, it sure helped that Burns didn't play and get burnt. Sensabaugh and Sutton both outplayed Burns.

 

Most of our D seems to " get healthy " against Cleveland. Their rookie LT is pretty bad and their center was really banged up as well. They also don't really have the WRs that you fear and a rookie QB as well. We will get a much tougher challenge this week. Remember Flacco said it was the easiest Steeler D he's ever faced last time out. If that's not motivation enough....

 

need to make a statement next week facing a desperate ravens team that knows us very well.

With the crows reeling they will come out with a major sense of urgency as BBH said. Can't be slow out of the gate. They will look to jump out early.
