Sorry I'm still seething from yesterday. Slept maybe 4 hours.

Upon further review it was not a catch as per the rules and I ain't ashamed to say it.
Can't figure out why either Ben's throw was slightly too far out or why Jesse's legs suddenly became paralyzed and he needed to dive to the end zone instead of run it in cause he was wide open.

Oddly enough if he secures the ball to his chest and rolls in the end zone we win cause that how open he was.

We lost that game going conservative on the last 2 possessions. I know Villy had a bad series as far as calls but 2nd and 18 and Toussaint is in the Game?
Was AB hurt?

Last offensive possession you have to do what you do and step on New England's neck. Don't just run the ball when they're crowding the box expecting run. At least spread them out like you did in the 1st half. That is on Haley and Tomlin

Defensively I will say it again how do u allow 1 man to get open and beat you without double covering him? Let someone else beat you but take away their best weapon. No jamming by linebackers when Gronk was lined up inside, free release and then 1 on 1 coverage on the 2pt conversion?
C'mon man! That's on Butler and Carnell Lake the later who I can't explain why he is a coach in this league.

You also had good special teams play in terms of coverage EXCEPT no one is a threat to break one And although I have to go back and look there's a punt that someone let's go and it bounces and pins us deep. Now you guys already know I loathe Danny Smith.

In summary we played within our fears with victory within our reach

Number 33 was eating our defense alive and there was no answer!!! Run defense sucks period!! Need to fix that ASAP!!!

 

4 penalty yards against the Pats. Geez. We have the best receiving crew in the game and no def holding or def PI in the whole game. What's the record for the least penalty yards in a game? The Pats may have just set that record.

 

And our 33 still can't run kickoffs, he was getting worse and worse with each return. I bet we dont make a change there in the next weeks to come.
Also what is he doing running a draw on 2nd and 28 yards to go.
