I would have cut Jones and promoted him.

I had high hopes for feeney with us.... a little extra bulk and he would've been a serious contender for Jarvis jones' soon to be vacated position...
    Hate to see him go

Seems shady to be stealing players from other team's PS, but I guess them are the rules...

goodbye, we hardly knew ya. Bummer...I liked his speed but he definitely needed to bulk up unless they had plans for him other than OLB in our current system. Only Darron Lee was faster for LBs.

Is that not what we did to acquire Ross Cockrell?

he was cut and we got him off waivers. according to rex they intended to resign cockrell to PS. Once signed to the PS there are other rules I believe (you have to sign them to the active roster).

Didn't he have injury problems in college? I know some here talked and hoped he would develop but looks like someone else was watching him as well....

I personally wish him all the best. Hope his path in the Big Easy yields success.

Feeney may be good if not better for being a 4-3 WILL. Has the speed for sure and is quite rangy thanks in part to his transition from safety entering college. Either way, good luck.

I've got to agree with this ... I watched every pre season game and I didn't see enough explosiveness to overcome the fact that he is undersized. He got manhandled by OT's on most plays.

Shoulder injuries and a sports hernia at the end of his college tenure, then a concussion in the last preseason game this year.
