going to state the obvious

Right I agree but what I am saying is we are giving the cushion and qb's are dumping it off quick therefore not allowing our front 7 a chance at the sack. I am by no means sticking up for our secondary they are bad I have said that in other posts. Yes pressure will help the pass coverage but you can't sack guys when they are getting rid of it quick.

 

The reason you see a cushion is because the people playing
defense can't cover the offensive player. Don't let the man get behind you,
don't allow the big play. We get talent at the safety and corner back position
you will see this cushion go away. You still must be able to pressure the QB.
And our tackling needs to improve.
