Go D-Backs!

I don't follow the MLB postseason all that close but absolutely love how AZ is bulldozing through the playoffs and now in the WS taking down those ridiculous high salaried over-hyped teams one after another. I rooted for AZ 22 years ago when they went on to win the WS with a few ex-Pirates on that team (Jay Bell, Tony Womack, Midre Cummings). David slaying all the Goliath's. Fun stuff.

 

I believe the Phillies took a page from the 1994 Steelers (before the AFCCG) by already talking about clinching the NL pennant in the desert by celebrating and lounging in the outfield pool at D-backs stadium. Serves them right. Go D-Backs!

I live among them. They set up a huge beach watch party and advertised it as WS clinching game. Talk of town was who they wanted to play in WS. Needless to say, I be happy.

 

You and Alice Cooper pulling for them. He was performing in AC or Philly (I forget) when his D-Backs were in their last WS. He kept checking the score between songs.

I want close games in the WS less it be the BUCS. Last night sucked but you must have loved it.

 

Always rooting for the underdog - like the Steelers today vs Jags. Although the WS is a 6th seed vs 5th seed. I like.

 

Shocking news and I know you won't believe it but yet again a money team has won the WS. Next season our BUCS shock MLB! Beat em BUCS!!
