    The promise of not ever being 24th again sends shivers up my spine. That still leaves 25 to 32..yikes

    One of the most exciting games I ever watched was against Houston with a final score of something like 3-0

    We lost

    I prefer winning

    Only a couple more days remain. Was expecting the announcement to be made some time over the weekend but no doubt it will be before this week's conclusion. Wedli or Hunt are still my incumbents.

    Hopefully we can hear of some announcement within the next day or the day after. That said, could come by Friday for all we know. One thing is certain;

    Doug Whaley is NOT the guy!! :lolol::drinks:

    Hmmm…my professional experience has formulated my opinion that promoting the CFO to CEO never works out well. The numbers guy rarely makes a good visionary.

    Is Khan the guy that's been following colbert around to all the pro days, trying to learn from him?

    In todays society you dont have to know how to do the job, to get hired .....

    He and Hunt both were.

    Khan started as a scout. He has also been involved with the draft process for years. Having said that though, I still think this is a sign that this will be a partnership with Tomlin and not actually his boss and with Tomlin perhaps having final say on adding talent.

    They interviewed a ton of people just to come back to an in house hire, my guess is none of those other candidates were ok with that arrangement. I can see Khan doing that though in order to get GM experience on his resume and then seeking a job with another team eventually. Either that or Tomlin eventually retires and Khan becomes the de facto GM then.

    I’m surprised Wiedl is taking an assistant job.

    Could Hunt still technically remain in his current role with the team?

    As many have posted, Omar Khan is a wonderful capologist. I just hope
    he can rely on good scouts and Weidll for player evaluation. Time will tell.
