I didn't see one Qb that faced a real team this week, that I would give up multiple picks to move up to get.
Of course this could change, and probably will, but that's why I laughed when people try saying for sure 5 Qb are coming out worthy of a 1st round.
Of course many will say it's too early to tell now, and that's my point I'm trying to make. If it's too early now, it sure the hell was too early 3, or 4 weeks ago too. LoL
Also watch for My boy T. Green. No matter what the Hogs do. He will be talked about, but I said that at the end of last season, but because many don't watch the Razorbacks, they don't even know who his is..............Yet.

Manning shouldn't come out this year, unless he wants to go 5th. So maybe he can wait until next year to be a 4th.

But without his last name, dude would be seen as the joke he is. Which is a UPS driver who missed every house.

Dude had high expectations from some of y'all, but dude still looks like the the new guy trying to figure out where the bathroom is.

We cant afford to reach for a Qb. Not this time. If there doesnt seem to be that franchise Qb by the draft we have to wait and hope Howard can develop. Use the 25 draft to get a d lineman (were going to need another one).

It’s way too early to have an answer to that question. We’ll know for sure next week.

    Thursday

I say 4 QB's will go in round one, and all of them will be picked before pick #20. Keep an eye on Leavitt. His is quick with his mind, arm, and feet.

Teams and QBs will adjust and play better as the season goes on, I still think there will be 5-6 QBs go in the first round in 2026. Before the 2024 draft did people have 6 QBs going in the first round ?

Steelers will likely be drafting QB in the first round next year. I hope Khan doesn't reach like Colbert did with Pickett. Too early to tell who is gonna be franchise caliber in 2026.

Garrett Nussmeier looked the best of all the potential first round picks yesterday going into Clemson and getting a win. Allar looked really good as well but it was against a team that they were favored to beat by 43 points.

    This.

For that matter, this mystery isn't gonna be solved until mid to late October at the earliest. Keep in mind that NFL Scouts typically wrap up their Scouting Reports by the time November rolls around; all the data and information they need already acquired from the bulk of Late August to Early October.

There are exceptions to this rule of course; Playoff CFB Teams with Prospects that warrant another look. I'd imagine that, should they make it, Arkansas Taylen Green, Indiana's Fernando Mendoza V, South Carolinas LaNorris Sellers and even Pittsburghs Eli Holstein will warrant a second opinion.

Again though, way too early to tell who will be in the CFB Playoff versus who won't when it comes to the unknowns.

What did you think of Drew Allars performance against weak opposition. See anything worth of praise there?

First it depends on how many QB needy teams there will be.

But I think there are some who played well this week that will fade.
Some that played bad that will step up.
    And some will be surprises.

I'm kind of flowing with the opinion that this class will fall short of 1983 QB draft but could be one of the better.
As the season wears on, that could change. 1 game is not a measuring stick.

You are missing the point I'm trying to make. It's too early now to say, and it was way too early 5 weeks before the season even started to say.

Not really. It was against a week opponent. Not one Qb that faced a real opponent looked like a guy I'd give up multiple picks to go get, but it could all change.

That was my whole point. It's way too early now to say, and 5-6 weeks before the season ever started was way way way too early for people saying that 5-6 Qb would be worthy of a 1st round pick, let alone spending draft picks to move up, and get one.

Agreed. Drafting a Qb in the 1st round just to draft a Qb gets you, Trubisky , Fields, Richardson, Pickett, and hundreds of other failed 1st round Qbs throughout the history of the NFL. Now of course this could all change, but like I've said multiple times already. That's my point. It's too early to say, and saying for freaking sure we will be spending picks to move up, and draft a Qb this year is ridiculous at this time.

I thought he looked poised going on the road against a great defense and the #4 ranked team in the nation and winning. He was 22-32 for 240 yards, threw the winning TD and didn't turn the ball over. LSU is going to be tough this year with a top notch QB and a great defense.

See that's what You seen, I seen a Qb that looked average, with a loaded team, going against a Clemson team that is overrated, and I believe will show that throughout the season. I also believe this will be Brain Kelly's last year with LSU. In fact, I'm surprised they have allowed him to stay this long, but we will see, and I could be totally wrong.
