George Pickens ‘Visibly Upset’ After Exchange With WR Coach Zach Azzanni Late In Practice

What if Kahn could convince the 49ers for a straight up WR swap with Auike (sp)???

They get a young talented possible superstar still on a rookie deal and we get a known commodity baller and absorb the higher contract.

No extra players or draft picks. Young for youngish, talent for talent, cheap for pricy.

I agree with those thinking Pickens could be traded if he does not change his attitude.

 

Local sport talk program (not Pittsburgh) was talking about Pickens today. They seem to think the Steeler offence is going to be heavy on the run and diva wide receivers don't like that.

 

That is a possibility but at Atlanta Smith usually only planned the passing attack to his #1 WR. The rest were spread out among the TE's and backs. The Falcons #2 WR under Smith was around 5th on the team in receptions.

 

It was around the same thing with the titans I think

I was watching KDKA earlier, they interviewed Pickens and I thought it was very telling when he mentioned "the accolades he deserves." Man, if that doesn't say it all, all about him, not the team. Really hoping he turns it around.

I don’t think it’s a big deal but we are seeing a pattern with George. Definitely seems like a me over team type of player. When things don’t go his way he throws a tantrum and doesn’t play hard.
