george atkinson III

    just saw that george atkinson III is entering the draft. i think he is the son of lynn swann's buddy george atkinson former oakland raider safety in the 1970's. he has good size at 6-1 and 220lbs. though he did not produce big numbers, but he average nearly 6yds per carry. would be funny if we draft him and see his dad in heinz field and cheering the steelers and also cross path with swann during games. i wonder how lynn still feels about atkinson.

    I seen him play a few times the dude is fast he can play a little RB, WR and special teams.

    I like Atkinson's size and speed and am definitely keeping an eye on him. Although the buzz out of South Bend is that he is merely an athlete and not a football player. Then again many Irish RBs who under performed in college have gone on to better pro careers. Its not like Brian Kelly commits to the run.

    he reminds me of dwyer version 2. not a guy I would want to rely on if bell goes down. plus I don't want his daddy in our stadium. LOL.:lolol::cool:
