Pickett makes Pickett look like a practice squad QB. The only thing Stroud makes is “me sad” because I’d love to have him.

 

The Cardinals had given up 32 red zone TDs in the first 12 gams. Not drives, but TDs. So that's 2.66 TDs from the RZ (not counting other scores outside the RZ). The Steelers have 3 points.

That says just how bad this offense is, Canada notwithstanding.

Another example of why we should have a turf field with high school playoffs, college and then steelers playing on that field in successive days!!

 

I think they were going to have him re-enact Moses parting the Red Sea as this front moved in at halftime, but said he was too old for the part.

 

I mentioned it earlier, but this is one of the things about Tomlin teams that drives me crazy. They just didn't show up with their usual level of focus against a bad team. They are taking the sort of stupid penalties they hadn't been taking on offense. Bad snaps killed two drives. Pickett killed another by not making the quick throw to an open Freiermuth on third down. This leads Tomlin to press, which led to them going for it on fourth-and-goal at the one. That was a huge play. it didn't just cost the Steelers three points. It handed momentum to the Cardinals.

The Cardinals also figured out this team is a mess at inside linbacker, especially now with Roberts out. they attacked Walker throughout that drive. If they had their starters at inside linebacker, that drive never gains even one first down.

Let's face it, the thunderstorm is more scary and dangerous than the Steelers offense will ever be, at least for the next few seasons anyway.

 

Stroud just got his ankle landed on the same way as Pickett. Limping

 

Pickens is not committed to being a professional. Talk to Hoge and watch the film. He does not get great separation and he does not run hard all the time. He is on track to be the next Steelers headcase at WR although DJ might beat him to it.
The point is neither is that great. Opposing dbs don't look at DJ and Pickens like they do with Diggs, Jefferson, etc..

I am not defending Pickett. He is replaceable as well. The larger point is the offense stinks because we lack talent.

 

Good thing we have guys like @jeh1856 who will stay no matter what.

Picket has been screwed up, he can't read a def, nit coached to nor what reads to make n when. NO FEEL n that was supposed to be a strength I thought

I remember Peyton having a few bad exchanges with his center and they were on the sideline between series practicing but our **** center who has f'd up snaps all season will just be sitting on the bench between series. This stuff never seems to get fixed with Tomlin.
