I disagree with the first sentence but agree with the second one.

I watched it with a buddy who is a Packers fan. Needless to say, he had an up and down night, that ended... Well, badly :cray:

We just chuckled over that one. The play that really sunk Green Bay was the dropped int by Shields just before Arizona took the 17-13 lead. Palmer really tried to give it away there. That would have done it IMO.

Shields was showing some mean Ike Taylor respect there. My dad is a Packer fan - I was texting with him while watching. Felt bad for him, especially after the roller coaster ride that was the last 3 min. Didn't think Rodgers' Hail Mary was finding the end zone coming off his back foot - amazing throw.

An awesome game to watch. Some bad ref calls but it came down to Rodgers and Fitzgerald, two amazing players on display.

Did he get away with some bad calls in that game or what?

Talk about clock management! How do you not run the ball 3 times and leave GB with just 1:20 on the clock to score a TD with no timeouts? I mean you're already up by 4 so either way a miss or FG sucks the time away!

Then to come on an all out blitz on what you knew was going to be a Hail Mary to the end-zone? WTF?

Carson Palmer is who I thought he was, Zona very lucky to get this one,
Either remaining NFC team will beat the Arizona Cardinals.

Go back and watch that long Fitz catch in OT. Watch Clay Matthews very carefully. He could have tackled Fitz early but as he got close he let up. He probably assumed one of his other teammates would make the tackle and he didn't want to plow into them, but man, he blew that one hard. He was right there, all he had to do was go in for the kill instead of letting up. Then once he realized his teammates missed, it was too late, his hesitation cost him.

They got greedy. That's the only reason I could think of. No smart reason to keep a team in it like that.

Can you imagine the firestorm here over the management of that situation?

Not to mention you go to an all out blitz with 5 seconds on the clock knowing they need a TD from the 41? WTF?! His press conference he said the DC wanted to play it safe and he told him "Hell no Blitz him!" WoW!
