The whole aspect of being nervous about Ryan Fitzpatrick can easily be dispelled. Heck, it has already been dispelled within his first start against Pittsburgh back in 2008, the first year I watched any NFL Team and nevermind American Gridiron Football.

This game will be no different than the Cincinnati game..... for one, even without tuitt, we have more than enough up front to make ryan picspatrick's life miserable and keep him winless against us lifetime

For 2..... we have a shiny new fs that regardless of what he says, will want to stick it to his former team in a huge way..
Expect a big game from minkah picspatrick

3.... a 2-4 team hanging on for dear life isn't about to overlook anyone

4...... we have a young qb out to prove himself as our qb of the future

Enjoy what pretty much will be a 2nd bye week in a row and let's make this the springboard to our playoff run

    This.

The literal jets need to be cooled off on Ryan and the Dolphins. I believe some are reacting to the way Buffalo played them. Last time I checked, while Josh Allen has a Howitzer, as I said before, what good is the use of a Howitzer without a "guided system"?!

On the other hand, Mason can make some accurate throws. In addition, he is not the turnover machine Josh Allen is. Add our improved defense and the Dolphins should be little to no trouble.

How in Gods name is our defense improved with the season ending injury to Tuitt who was easily heading to the best season of his career this year? Unfortunately he is injury prone but there is no denying his contributions to this whole defensive scheme that just started showing life this year.

I look for a big drop off in QB pressures and jamming up the gaps to the run defense. Miami should be no test to the back ups but down the road his loss will make a huge difference. JMHO.

I remember the Bills game in OT when Fitzpatrick threw a perfect pass to a wide open Stevie Johnson for the win, only thing was that Johnson dropped the ball. The Bills lineman picked Fitzpatrick up in the air to celebrate their "win" before they realized that Johnson dropped the pass.

    You misinterpreted my post.

When I said improved, I meant in years past when facing QBs like Ryan. I was not talking about the loss of Stephon. Regarding obtaining pressures, Hargrave is likely to break out given Miami's Offensive Line woes and Alualu is a solid depth player.

Miami's brass look at this game as a win/win whether the Dolphins win or lose. Win and the Steelers draft pick they traded for is higher, lose and their own 1st round pick is higher...lucky them. lol

Hate to say it, but Miami has actually been improving. Their last two games were competitive.

I'm the cherry picker? :lolol: Your stat completely skews the reality that this team has done nothing for 7-8 years. Sure his first 5 seasons as HC went fairly well. Can't argue with that. But to act like everything is great because of what he did 9-10 years ago is a big mistake.

Not wining a single playoff game in 7 of the last 9 seasons is fact. You can ignore it all you want. I'm just stating a fact. You can think what ever you want with that piece of info. You can ignore the talent he's had and pretend Tomlin built this team out of nothing if you want. I am of the opinion that every situation is different and judgment on any leader or coach should be made individually. Expectations are very different for a coach that took over Bill Cowher's steelers vs the coach that took over the Dolphins for example. One simple question I think any leader, CEO, or coach should answer... Did you leave your company or team better than when you took it over? Compare MT's first 5 years vs his last 5. If Tomlin was coaching the Bengals or Browns I'd agree with your opinions. He took over a team loaded with talent and a HOF QB. His expectations are higher than 9-7 and no playoff wins - as they should be.

I'm starting to think that the Steelers do not regard Skipper as highly as many Steelers fans seem to.

Can’t argue with that but we may want to thank him. He may have discovered NEs secret. When BB made his deal with the devil it came with ghosts included.....

The Patriots next scandal will be "ghost gate" where an exorcist will come forward and say he was paid by Belichick to summon the ghosts of Night Train Lane and Jack Tatum to play defense for them this year so they can go 19-0.

the fact that Cincinatti is winless has me thinking Miami does not want to win this game. They are in competition for overall #1.

Had Miami been the clear #1 draft pick at this point I think they give us a fight. just my opinion

no reason to lose this one regardless of no big ben/watt/etc. primetime at home vs a winless team cmon

I can't see an NFL team tanking near purposely especially on MNF.

Done nothing? I can see you don't appreciate winning and making the playoffs. Yes I will take making the playoffs over not making the playoffs even if the team doesn't win a playoff game or win one playoff game in X amount of years. That's just the reality of sports.

It's difficult to convince people of what they have when they don't realize what they have.

Ask any Bengals fan about just Making the playoffs and getting nowhere. Um No thanks, I'd rather have a win it all or bust attitude comparatively.

Considering that Bengals don't win or make the playoffs consistently why would I ask those fans?

It's difficult to win consistently in the NFL. It's even more difficult to win a Superbowl. Ask your Bengal friends. Knowing those facts, I'd rather be the fan of a team that wins and makes the playoffs consistently until the organization can build a Superbowl winner. Hey that's just me.

Sometimes I don't understand the way people think. People take winning for granted is what comes to my mind.

It's nice to make the playoffs but to me anything short of winning the SB is ultimately disappointing in the end. I've never been a fan of Participation trophies.
