Game plan for rain?

Been much talk about leaning heavily on the passing game (what else is new) esp with DW being doubtful. How do you think the rain will affect the game plan? we seem to go down field a lot (though we used Heath quite a bit last week) Hoping Haley has the right recipe for soup! (fwiw Paul Brown has artificial turf)

 

Artificial turf usually drains pretty good , I wouldn't put it past the Bengals to slow that down though... A wet sloppy field favors straight ahead runners and single easy cut routes .... If the field gets real soaked it is hard for RB'S to make hard cuts and it is hard on WR'S to stop on a dime or make hard double moves....

We use to Coach are guys in bad weather to change the way you fake .. Here in the Mountains of NC we get a lot of bad weather almost every year come playoff time is rain,snow,ice some type of bad weather....We would have guys practice their shake and Bakes from the hips up, slick fields are not the time to work from the hip down....

The bottom line is Bigger Stronger players have a clear advantage over Smaller Quicker players in bad weather . Might have to use players like Miller and WJ a bit more ...

 

No running game and I think they take the deep ball off again, and this time try to shut miller. IMO any success of this game falls on 3 peeps. MB, MW, DHB. Those 3 need to be huge and no dropsies.

 

This is what I worry about since our passing game often feels on the longer side. I also worry about the impact it's gonna have on our already suspect backfield.
