Game Day Rituals or Superstitions???

I could not shave for a week and most folks wouldn't know it.

 

Hahaha I look terrible it's a bush I can't wait to chop it off after the superbowl

 

Put up a Steeler Christmas tree November 21st and not taking it down till they win the Super Bowl!!

 

No it's my steelers boxers. They can also double as a rally cap if need be.

 

I got the flu that`s been going around. Between that misery and anxiety waiting on the game got only 4 hrs sleep. Hope that`s good luck.

BTW. Will somebody please get the official game day thread going early? Us fans got to be chomping at the bit with nervous energy. Thanks.

I plan on sweating a lot during the game. It's about 60 degrees outside and I will be wearing My Steelers tye dye my son bought for me. My wifes Hines Ward jersey that I took from her after the 4 game losing streak (I ran out), and my very heavy warmest Steelers hoodie that I own. Been wearing this combination for the entire winning streak and I'm not messing it up now. Also, 3rd Terrible Towel (SB edition) shows up today.

 

I'm the exact opposite. Probably put me to an early grave by getting so stressed about it.

 

If I would have let my beard grow since their winning streak started it would be hanging down to my chest by now. I don't wear it long any more in my old age. I am pretty superstitious when it comes to my game jersey. If any team has beaten us when I wear it I never wear it again when they play them. We lost to the Pats one time in the past when I wore it so I won't be wearing it today. I get the Steelers trolls and put them on the shelf above the television when the game starts going bad. It seems if I put them up there before the game it always goes bad and they lose. They only come out if we get a TD or 2 down. It works most of the time. Of course I still wear a Steelers t-shirt, Steelers sweats, Steelers socks, etc. And of course Steelers coozies for game beer. Living out west I don't usually drink beer at game time on early games but the coozie still comes out for sodas or water or whatever I am drinking. Today I get to drink beer. WOO HOO !!!!!!!!! Been a Steelers fan since 1968. They are the only team.
