He finished the game with over 170 scrimmage yards, including over 140 rushing. He also had a big third down catch on the drive before the FG in the 4th qtr, I don't think any of us saw this coming from him.

He looked like the complete opposite of the player we saw last week.

Make the playoffs and do a T formation with Samuels and Conner.

All he needed was constant opportunity. I've been saying that but some booed me the hell out of here.

I might have to give it to Joe Haden. How huge was that pick?

    O-line was pretty great.

I would give Keith Butler and Terrell Edmunds an honorable mention; game balls if not that. Both needed this game more than they know. Edmunds especially.

Butler ACTUALLY had a concrete gameplan to stop Rob Gronkowski. All he had to do was believe in the very player he drafted for the task. Put the players in position to succeed.

That brings me to Terrell Edmunds. His second best game of the season. His best coverage game against a tight end, a hall of famer at that, is just further indication to what I have stated all season long; give him some time. He has been given said time and now we all are beginning to see the fruits of his labor.

In short? Believe in Terrell. He did not have the luxury that players such as Derwin James, Justin Reid, and Jessie Bates had heading into the draft. He was still learning the position in his final season at Virgina Tech. Those aforementioned were playing that position since their freshman year. Now that the game has slowed down, look for Terrell to make even more of an impact.

    I would give 3 out.

Samuels, Washington and Watt. As I said in the gameday thread, these are all YOUNG guys. If they can continue to improve, the future looks bright.

He was pretty solid. I would still like to see better run support from our safeties especially on those plays wher the pile continues to move. I noticed on quite a few occasions where he and Davis were spectators . They need to put a end to those runs with some physicality. Just my opinion.

All week I have seen this crap about fire coaches. So in my opinion, they get it.

If they are gonna get blamed when your kicker falls, qb sucks, and defense cant cover then dammit they get the credit when that happens lol

key to the game: don't cover WR with linebackers
the game: we didn't cover WR with linebackers (mostly)

my game ball goes to whoever figured this out. Let's do it more :rawk:

There were some running plays that we didn't see very much during the year. Mostly running counter plays where Samuel starts one way then cuts the other way. These were the plays that he got a lot of yardage on.

Exactly right, please only use linebackers on WR when you have to and not the whole game.
