I'll throw Sammie C in as a winner- both his catches were huge, and, as a last minute fantasy starter, he won my matchup for me by a single point.

winner - d will and the run game, they really settled things down when things were getting crazy. Eli Rogers had a strong showing

loser - tackling on defense again, Davis and Timmons most noticeable.

no passes in the NFL, tackling was one of his strong suits supposedly. I really like the guy though, but he needs to trend away from that

Winner - the offense, shazier and D line.

Losers - anyone in the D Backfield. Cockrell and Mitchell were awful. LBs missed tackles

I think so too, not ripping the guy as its his first game. Liked everything else, and have no doubt he'll tighten up the tackling.

Winner: Offense. Our entire offense looks great. We had some week 1 sloppy issues a few times but that's to be expected.

Looser: Defense. We were much worse defensively than the score shows. Against a good QB, we would have been in trouble. No pass rush. Cockrell sucks - which I've been saying since last season but everyone seems to love the guy. The only thing stopping Washington's offense was Washington. We badly need another play maker on Defense. I just don't see anyone with the ability to be that guy. Shazier and Heyward are great. Everyone else looks average. We need more than 2 standouts. I guess we can hope for Davis to blossom. I just don't' see anyone else with any upside. Losing Dupree hurts.

I'm with you, turtle. He whiffed a lot but he was also in the right place most of the time. He'll get used to the speed at this level soon. Looks very promising.

Whats the name of the game? Scoring points and keeping the other team out of the endzone.

They did that. And Cousins is a good QB.

Only 16 points in todays NFL? They did a good job. 1st game of the season, the defense will only continue to get better.

The skins kept them selves out of the endzone. How many pre snap penalties did they have? We produced zero sacks and 2 QB hits. Offensively they moved the ball at will when they weren't screwing it up. Cousins is a solid QB but nothing special and he had over 300 yards. I suspect most of our games will be shootouts.

I still don't like Jarvis Jones. Cockrell was bad tonight. Butler should have brought pressure sooner.

Lots and lots of good, especially considering week 1 is normally a sloppy mess for everyone.

Teams that lose usually don't play flawless football. I really don't partake in making excuses for when we win.

The only issues I saw from his tacking were on Reed and Vernon Davis. Two massive TE's who aren't easy to bring down even for seasoned vets
